I am now a teenager and still love to visit this house in Derby I have been going with my family in the half terms since I was a little girl, it's great for all ages and you really get a feel of what it might have been like years ago! In the half terms there are activities on for children creating things to take home and plants to grow yourself, there's a room where you can create your own puppet shows and rooms for adults to learn too! It's not to pricy and also educational I would recommend this to family's with children of all ages or anyone who is interested in having a nosey around an interesting old building! I have had many happy memories here! I hope there is more to come and I hope you benefit as much as I have from this wonderful museum!

An interesting museum part of the derby museum, organising activity for the children which is fantastic. Plus they have a free parking at the rear of the museum (good because the museum is in center town)

A very interesting place to feel a travel in time, not as big as a museum but with interesting rooms to see, we loved the toilettes!! And on top of it the entrance was free. Go there if you are near!

Pickford house is not just a museum but also has activities for children like colouring competitions and such like it's not a big place so dont take a lot of time to go round it but it shows how people lived many years ago you actually feel your in that time it very close to the town centre and admission is free so if your in Derby call in.

Reallt quaint well decorated house in a time befitting the period. Nice and helpful staff. Bit difficult to park as in centre of town.
