Description: We are a family run restaurant, we aim to bring great bistro style food at reasonable prices in a relaxed quirky restaurant. Great for business meetings and romantic meals. Booking is essential. Please note that our 'opening times' listed on here are actually our food service times, we stay open much later in the evening for freshly made cocktails.

My partner and I have visited the Wonky Table a number of times since opening, and each time just seems to get better and better.
The restaurant is gorgeous with food to match, and you can always be sure to get personal and attentive service whether you are visiting for lunch or dinner.
The Wonky Table is also really nice to catch up with friends over coffee (affectionatley now called a Wonky-chino in our household) or for drinks after work, they have some lovely wines. I don't normally drink cocktails.... but i have tried and liked the mojitos.
All in all.... it's one of my new favourite places. Well done Wonky!

We wandered into The Wonky Table because we were hungry and passing. What we found inside surpassed all our expectations!

The food here is a cut above most cafes. Ingredients were fresh and seasonal, flavours were vibrant, and presentation was absolutely first class. Everything was home made, and carefully prepared with an attention to detail that speaks of someone who takes real pride in sending proper, homecooked food out of the kitchen. Service was excellent, too, with chatty, friendly staff eager to help and offer advice.

I had an aubergine frittata with goats cheese and courgette salad. An absolutely lovely combination of flavours and textures, with the earthy aubergine and cheese beautifully complemented by zingy lime and fresh courgettes cooked with just the right amount of 'bite' (so often they are served soggy or slimy - not here). To follow, the most delicious dark chocolate orange fondant, with just the right combination of spice, sweetness, and dark bitterness to leave me wanting more! At £9.95 for two courses at lunch, it's an absolute bargain. Seriously recommended!

I stumbled across this place by accident, I'd walked past it in the day and wondered what it was about i know some of my friends thought it was a furniture shop. After enquiring about the evening food which to my suprise is only served Thursday - Saturday i booked a table.

Well i had a lovely time, the ambience was so lovely inside and because the weather was so nice we managed to sit outback and eat our dinner. It was honestly like beng on holiday, it was so relaxing and chilled out - although the weather helped obviously! I had the lamb wth ratatouille which although was a little bit fatty it tasted beautiful and complemented the ratatouille wonderfully. My partner had the fillet which was cooked just how he likes it. (something i feel that chefs often get wrong) The staff were very attentive and chatty, the owner quite happily stopped to chat to us after our meal to see if we enjoyed it and what we honestly thought - You can see that they genuinely care and aren't just some bored managers working for someone else.

I'll definately be returnng back to this place.
