We've just spent a weekend here; a group of friends with young children and it was perfect. We were allocated a massive field which was ample space for our 8 tents and 2 gazebos. The toilets, pot area and showers were a mere minutes walk and right near a FAB play area and HUGE covered sandpit!
There were several other play areas, all with different features and in very good condition.
The staff were super friendly, down to earth and helpful and we were made to feel welcome by all, including a few permanent residents who kindly lent us a powerful lamp.
The facilities area too many to mention but basically you don't need to leave the campsite.
We had brunch in the cafe and the food was ok; prices were reasonable and our only gripe was not being able to have chips before noon!
Overall a fantastic campsite and I think we'll all be back at some point.

Took my niece here for the night as we were looking for somewhere for families. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Lots of things to do for children with parks, train rides, lovely walks, sand pits etc. Site was secure and the toilets and showers were so clean. Would highly recommend

Got here mid afternoon, hadn't booked and they were busy, but was no trouble. The guy on a golf buggy thingy is a credit to the place. Saw us at the barriers when we first arrived, helped with check in and escorted us to the pitch. Nice pitch, water and hook up, nice and level. Really lovely feel to the place, very much like Center Parcs with a leafy feel. Very family orientated in my opinion, lots of kids play areas and things for them to do. Really calm place, clean and well run.
Small shop, bar/cafe. We walked up into town, 25 minutes walk to the NISA supermarket if you need anything. Lots of walks around the site and local information provided at check in
Good shower blocks, lots of washing up areas too. Very impressed, could be a good base for a few days.

If you have young to teenage children this is a great place whether you have a tent, caravan or motorhome.
There is plenty for them to do onsite and lots of places to go by car.
The entrance road outside the park is full of small potholes but fortunately it's only a few meters from the local road. Once inside via the electronic barrier reception is in front of you and depending which part of the park you are on you may either have a steep hill to climb or along the flat or slightly downhill.
Caravans are usually on a stone hard standing so if erecting an awning make sure you have suitable pegs as ordinary ones will not go in.
Waste water disposal is a bit of a walk wherever you are - this should be their next upgrade route to supply drainage in more places.

We booked this site 9 months in advance as a group booking, this was based on the facilities and spacious look of the site. We arrived and were told we were to cram into a corner edge because they had 300 other tents coming onto site that weekend.

There were a number of problems:
Insufficient shower/toilet facilities for the number they accepted onto site
Dirty toilet blocks (old insect etc. that has obviously been there for weeks)
No toilet roll - these were not checked or met the number of people on site.
Very poor shop facility
No green space for children to play near the tents because so crammed in

They overbooked the main site at a Bank Holiday, where I feel as a business if you charge extra you should take responsibility for ensuring people have sufficient pitch space (we didn't even have a meter between each tent)

It feels like they were just out to grab as much money as they could, £30 to put up a gazebo - seriously ! £30 a night for two adults and paying extra for each child ??!!

I have raised my concerns and asked for a refund which was less that we paid per group per night, instead was offered a nights stay, I would not go back to this place, they have treated us unfairly, and refuse to see this from a paying customers perspective. I would strongly discourage people from giving this site more business, chose someone who cares about the quality of site they provide their customers.
