Olive staying at a premier inn and generally this is exactly what I love good value the only real problem I had was when we went it was boiling and no air con, the rooms are old looking but fairly large we had two family rooms and a twin and they were big the bath is amazing food was great the reception staff were lovely even left a doll in the room with a note for the children to return her and she gave them sweets, situated perfectly as KFC and Pizza Hut a cinema and bowling with in walking distance, it's about forty mins drive to Alton towers the reason for our stay but was nice, I think they could do with a fenced outdoor area for kids and it would be perfect def gonna stay again next yr when we go Alton towers again

Very comfortable and spacious room, immaculately clean and tidy, very comfy beds with choice of firm or soft pillows. Tea & coffee was refilled daily, the choice was given of re-using your same towels or having fresh ones daily. The staff were very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable and ordered us a taxi into town which arrived within a few minutes; excellent food and good menu choices, friendly bar and waiting staff. Surrounding facilities on site are good ie Pizza Hut, cinema, tenpin bowling, Sainsburys etc and only a couple of miles into town with huge Westfield Shopping Centre. This will definitely become a regular stay for catch ups with sister.

Stayed there for two nights last weekend. Room was small and dark with very tired decor. The exhaust fan of the bathroom was very noisy. Wall in between rooms was not insulated, You can hear the noise from next door, We were lucky enough to have two energetic neighbour for the first night, who quiet down after 3 a.m.!!! Bed was comfortable although a bit high. Staff and cleaning was good. Breakfast was extra £8+ for cooked and £5+ for continental, eat as much as you like. Will consider staying somewhere else for silent night.

This hotel is fine as far as budget hotels go with the exception of paying £3 per guest per day for WIFI access which by the way barely works. Are their running costs for WIFI really that high? Especially as the poor connection ads insult to injury.
Unfortunately breakfast Is not self serve and you can't make a return trip.
