On Sunday my wife and I had the most delicious Sunday lunch.
For starters my wife had fish cakes and I had kataifi brie, both starters were truly delicious.
We both opted for a roast beef main course, the beef was cooked to perfection as were the vegetables.
The homemade sticky toffee pudding and the dark chocolate mousse were the perfect finish to the meal.
At £19.95 for three courses it was also very good value.
The one thing that did let it down was the chaotic service, all of the staff were very nice but there was no organisation, five minutes after the main courses were served the chef brought out the vegetables, because all of the waitresses were having a chat and they had been forgotten.
However the food was so good we can forgive the service.

Me and the missus had our lunch here. The food was perfect, she ordered a salad expecting a small portion and it was huge! The Angus burger, was delicious with home made crispy chips. Service was a little slow and took 20 minutes nearly to get the bill being busy, i feel they need an extra pair or hands or two helping. Otherwise reccomended

Stopped by on a Friday after 8pm. We had not booked but they had tables for two left. Service was quick and friendly and the menu was good. Food very nice. We ordered the Burger and the Sausage & Mash.

Very pleasant place to stop for a coffee during the day. The Old Bank has a nice patio at the rear that is a sun trap. The staff appear pleased to see customers and smile genuinely.
Cheaper than the nearby alternatives.
