Very close to the shopping centre and a 20 minute walk to Old Town with all it's old pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was impressive. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Swindon. Friendly helpful staff.

Just stayed 4 nights with tour company ,the hotel is very clean and the rooms good size the only thing wrong is the lack of draws there were none , breakfast could have been warmer but still very good choices,
Evening dinner was a major problem for us as we are plain eaters ,as the menus were a little spiced up for us .But the staff did all they could to see we were catered for they were first class ,
Nothing was too much trouble the staff can make a hotel .
Thanks to all the staff for a nice stay .

Adequate hotel about seven minutes walk from the railway station at Swindon. Also the bus station is across quite a busy ring road from the hotel. A little anonymous and not as warm and welcoming as other places I have stayed in. Comfortable rooms with usual range of facilities expected at this price bracket, plus customary bar and catering facilities.

This is a nice hotel with nice staff nice food and a nice spacious room overlooking the quiet car park. We slept well and to be fair it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in on a coach tour. Most pensioners coach tours stay in what you might call "tired" hotels or ones on ring roads or industrial estates where you feel trapped and unable to get out. This one is in town and handy for the shopping centre. However, it is in an area of architectural ugliness so I would not want to have a holiday there.
Of course there are some things that would benefit from improvement, for example the layout of the breakfast buffet is ergonomically poor and promotes queuing especially round the toaster. Indeed we even had our toast "stolen" whilst we were waiting for it. The bathroom would benefit from having the grout cleaned in one or two places round the bath, which is something the room cleaners haven't the time for I know.

We lived in Swindon for a while and we were witnessing it being built, so we knew it was a fairly new hotel in the area. However when we returned to the town for a friend's wedding, we found it didn't quite meet the high standard compared to other Jury's Inns in the group.

Overall it was okay, though I was expecting it to have a better quality of finish... but no, it just reminded me of money saving Travelodge (ironically they have one right next door with half the price!).

The staff was friendly, breakfast was a highlight, it was exceptionally good (particularly to the lady at the restaurant who really made an effort.)
