I stayed here for three nights with a girlfriend as a spa weekend treat. The hotel looks very nice on the outside, it is situated on a leisure park, across the road from a Cineworld,Bowling alley, Indian and Chinese restaurant. The reception staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We were given room 219, very quiet and very close to Healthworks where we were having our treatments. The room itself was large and clean but as previously stated very dark, however reception lent us a reading lamp when asked. The bathroom was good apart from taps not really fitted properly in the refurb, hence holes still in the tiles. We ate in the Italian one night and found the waiters cheerful and the food good.Pool was quite small but very nice, only a few chairs and very busy when we were there, sauna and steamroom also small but nice. Gym large and although we didnt use looked fab.Healthworks was fab, treatments all great and therapists very good and very friendly, will definately return there! Breakfast good choice, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast pastries and full English breakfast.McArthur Glen outlet centre 5 mins away and Swindon Town Centre about 7 mins away. All in all a nice stay and I would definately return.

Room Tip: room 219 was very quiet, nonoise at all

The beds were to die for, so comfortable and the room was furnished beautifully furnished. We stayed in room 172. It overlooked the car park, but we heard no disturbance.
Pool was very good as was the jacuzzi and sauna and steam room.
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
Bar was good food, but restaurant a little disappointing......needs a better italian menu!!
Staff were excellent.....homely feel about the hotel.
Last but not least retail therapy at the outlet village. We will return!!!

Stayed here on business for one night. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. The on site pub did nice, reasonably priced meals in the evening and the breakfast was ok.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Only slight complaint was that the room was very hot and there was no fan or air conditioning. As the room backed onto a busy main road, opening the window wasn't really an option. Made for a less than ideal nights sleep.

We visited this hotel in October 2011 for a birthday weekend away. My partner and I were extreamly impressed with the Family room we had booked. It was absolutely massive with 2 hugh beds that were extreamly comfortable. The decor in the hotel room is a little dark but there was enough lighting in the room for this not to be a problem There was free wifi which was a real bonus. The Flatscreen TV was hugh it was just a shame that the channel choice was quite limited. We had booked a package that included a meal on the friday evening with a glass of wine. The italian restaurant where we had our meal was very good. The staff were very pleasent and could not do enough for you.Drinks were a reasonable price and you did not feel like they were milking it.
There is a starbucks in the lobby that serves snacks as well which we felt was a nice touch.
The spa area and swimming pool were very clean and once again staff were very helpful. The reception staff were very welcoming too.
The hotel is on an entertainment complex. There is a very nice indian that is reasonably priced that we tried on the Saturday night. There is also a cinema, pizza hut, bowling alley, and a chinese restaurant
I would definately stay at this hotel again and would happily recommend it to all.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the family room .

This night out at the Devere was outstanding!!! therefore I had to let you all know how wonderful it was.
This was our first Tribute night here and we will be returning. Everything about the evening was perfect. The staff were so happy and helpful and went that extra mile to look after you. Well done to the Chef as the three course meal was piping hot and really delicious especially the baileys cheesecake!!!! The tribute band called Majesty were the best tribute band ever!! spectacular in every way and we have seen many tribute bands. Fantastic value as well so I would highly recommend a night out at the Devere.

We didn't stay overnight at the hotel so this review does not cover bedrooms etc. We went to the Queen tribute night on 28.10.2011 which included a meal and with it being a tribute night we were expecting the meal to be just about edible if we were lucky, however we were pleasantly surprised when the meal was very nice. It consisted of soup and a main meal with nice hot food on a hot plate followed by a very nice sweet and tea or coffee.

Service throughout the evening was prompt and courteous.

Wine and other drinks were at a reasonable price and the tribute band was excellent with a good disco feel to the proceedings until after midnight. Well done De Vere.

Chose to spend a night here for our anniversary, the idea being spending a night without having to go out for anything. We were very happy with our choice. Lots of things to do and places to eat all on the same complex. We used the gym facilities which were excellent, the pub was lively. The local Indian restaurant was quiet but very nice. Room was nicely done out if a little garish, bed was extremely comfy. Lovely stay. Already planning another stay.
