We had a standard king room, lovely staff, large spacious lobby, lots of easy chairs and sofas to sit and enjoy a coffee or something stronger. Room was excellent, large, fantastic big bed, clean, tidy and thankfully windows that actually open as no air-con. Plenty of things to do for families in the immediate area, cinema, bowling and swimming in the hotel, lovely bar and restaurant. After a bad experience earlier this year at a different De Vere location, it was a relief to have such a pleasant experience. Try it for yourself, I can't imagine you would be disappointed.

Excellent service at reception, very pleasant lady always used my name when she saw me. Upgraded groom to include starbucks coffee and sky. Good breakfast.
Hotel near indian restaurants and cinema but away from town centres. We booked as base for day in the cotswolds so were quite happy with the location.

Stayed for a long weekend over the bank holiday with my family. Rooms are of a good size, clean and modern, Pool is small, but ample to go for a family swim in the afternoons. The Victory Pub offers good food and service but the Italian offers neither. The manager is rude and the comment of "I would rather be somewhere else" when greeted by our waitress summed it all up. The food is mediocre and having pasta served in a cereal bowl an experience. However, the front of house staff were fantastic and I would urge you to head there with any concerns. HOWEVER, be careful if you take the dinner inclusive package as IT IS DOES NOT apply to children under 16.

Room Tip: Rooms on the outside shelter you from any noise if there is a function on such as a wedding

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my wife and our 1 year old. The hotel was just what we wanted.

- Hotel and our room was clean and tidy.
- The staff were very friendly.
- The breakfast buffet was very good.
- The pool was very nice, with a small pool for little children.
- The Italian restaurant food was good
- A Starbucks in the hotel.

Really enjoyed our two nights stay and would definitely return.

Stayed at the hotel whilst visiting family and the rooms are lovely and clean and big enough for a one night stay. Check in was good and quick with friendly staff.
One thing I have to comment on was the bar / eaterie as this really let the place down. Having waited 5 minutes to get served because the bar staff seemed to be in the kitchen area and not worried to check on whether anyone was waiting, we were then served by a girl who carried on her conversation with another staff member. I work in customer service and this is a big no, and this happening whilst what appeared the manager was there in the kitchen chatting as well.
After eating what was an average over priced meal with drinks I overheard the manager speaking to a male staff member in the most derogatory way any employer should.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the hotel to all but they seriously need to do some training with the bar staff.

This hotel is very conveniently located for a wide range of places to visit. It has recently been refurbished and the rooms are very comfortable with a high qality bed and bathroom facility. The hotel has a good Italian restaurant and the breakfast buffet is excellent Th hotel it is within walking distance of several other eateries, especialy the nearby TajMahal whch we found to be excellent in terms of menu, food quality , service and price. I booked this hotel through laterooms.com and had a double b/b for an amazing £49 on a Friday night. Would definitely stay there again when in the Swindon/Cotswold area.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room in a quiet location, and non-smoking of course!

Having stayed here last year for a one night spa break we chose to stay for 2 nights this year, 4 friends who dont get together very often and it was also to celebrate 2 of the ladies birthdays, couldnt fault anything, staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped us to organise a decorated table for our friends birthday dinner, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely evening - special mention to Kat and Amy! very helpful.

the rooms we had were next to each other with an adjoining door which was great for us, room was clean and tidy.

the food was good, no reason to complain, breakfast was good, varied choice, dinner in the italian restaurant was very good.

our treatments in the spa were AMAZING!! a great bunch of girls in the spa made us feel welcome and very relaxed!

only down side to the hotel is that it is very hot and stuffy, they could really do with getting some air con sorted.

we will definately stay again

Room Tip: rooms on the top floor are the new ones,
