Stayed for Badminton, good value, enjoyed the pool, food ok, room good, shower really weedy. I have long hair and it took twice as long to wash it which was disappointing but it was the only thing that was sub standard. All the staff were very helpful.

We stayed here May bank holiday weekend
Nice hotel, we had a meal in the restaurant which was average! The crispy belly of pork wasn't crispy it was soggy and the pork was very chewy ! The waitress assured us she would pass on our comments to the chef, but we didn't get any feedback.
Not one of Marriott's best hotels but not too expensive either.
Rooms were fine, bar area was nice
Breakfast was chaotic but it was a bank holiday weekend

Really easy to book, accomodated us in a quiet room as we had our dog with us (some rooms allow this) with a rollaway bed for our 2 year old. Friendly staff, clean room & hotel, good breakfasts, enjoyed the pool, we also had no problem finding hotel, as others had reported. Had a fab break. Only negative for us was lack of choice for veggie meals in main resturant, so we ate out at night.

Hotel just some way outside old town area with short drive to shopping and other facilities.

Good car parking facilities with excellent gym and good breakfast.

Double rooms are bigger than the single rooms, which sounds obvious but if they are the same price chose the double.

Ive stayed here a few times now. Never had a bad experience.
The hotel is modern, clean and well located near to old town.
It has a nice, if a little small, pool, with a nice sauna and steam room. It has a well equipped gym...with private membership, but open to hotel guests.
On site is a reasonable typical Marriott restaurant and bar.
I presently have a double/double room, which is actually quite large. I've previously stayed in the superior king bed rooms. All are well maintained.
The best bit...the price. Often under £59 a night per room...can't go wrong really. When you price in the budget price band you may expect basic and practical. This hotel is in that price band...but is far from basic

We stayed there in late March for two nights and found the comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are well kept and the breakfast offers many options. There is also a fitness center. However, the best thing about the Marriott Swindon is the staff. They go out of their way to ensure that you are in fact treated as a guest while there. Everyone at the front desk seems to genuinely enjoy their job; everyone we encountered in the halls greeted us with a smile - even the staff in the fitness center and the cleaning staff were pleasant and cheerful.

I requested some clotted cream in the room to surprise my wife and this was provided - free. What a treat. I also lost a USB drive and it was returned to me by housekeeping. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to return if in the area again.

Very easy to find even with a satnav,I checked in 2 hours early as my room was ready. Comfortable room, clean, there's is now free internet throughout the hotel so there are no excessive charges, well done Marriott. Ate at the Restaurant which had 2 courses for £17 which is excellent value, with a good choice of dishes, Service was prompt and polite, and the food excellent. The only slight drawback is the vicinity of the leisure club means the reception area does have a slight wiff of chlorine from the pool, but all in all not bad at all
