A group of us stayed in hotel and found it very un organised low staffed and most staff miserable. The room i stayed in was filthy especially the bathroom. We had lunch that took nearly an hr for sandwiches and soup we cancelled table for dinner as menu limited offer and expensive.

I have used this hotel for business trips to Swindon, only a mile from M4 Junction 16 it has a convenient. Can be much cheaper than nearby Premier Inn and Holiday Inn but sometimes the price jumps e.g. Thursday nights are usually £40 but can vary from £29 to £85, and the rooms are smaller than their competitors.

Food has a French flavour with a decent salad bar and comfortable bar/lounge and reasonable prices - particularly for the specials which are changed daily.

Free wireless throughout the hotel is good, but speeds could be faster.

Staff are pleasant and the head waiter is very good with customers.

This is not a holiday hotel, but if your going to Swindon on business or for a social event it is worth a try.

Room Tip: Book on the internet early for discounts and offers

Stayed here for one night and was most definately impressed with the standard of the hotel, especially as we didn't pay much for the night. Staff were fantastic from the moment we walked through the door, to the moment we left. We were in a double room, which came with a large tv, kettle, tea bags etc. Beds were extremely comfy, I slept like a log!! Bathroom was also good quality, and there was no noise etc at night. One negative point would be that breakfast wasn't included in the price, despite from our understanding from our booking it was. So we ended up not having breakfast as it was over £6 each for a continental breakfast, so we just walked to the sainsburys across the road. Location is great, as I said, near a Sainsburys, which is extremely handy. Overall, this hotel was fantastic, and the only reason it is not getting the 5/5 rating is due to the breakfast situation! Otherwise top notch!!

We stayed in this hotel on the road from eurotunnel to fishguard. Great location just off the m4. Room was really clean with all the usual stuff u would expect. We ate in the hotel restaurant before headin into swindon and the staff were so friendly and the food was good value for money. We would def recommend this hotel. Kris (Ireland)

I usually try and avoid the the large chains as they tend to be of the stack um high sell um cheap mentality. However I have been very pleasantly suprised by the quality & service offered at the Campanile hotel. The rooms althought very regimented were spotless & the food in the restaurant certainly exceeded my expectation. Free WiFi in your room, a good sized, well positioned TV, and good sized bathroom all made the stay comfortable. Talking of comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, with no flat spots on the matress or springs sticking in your back. With on site parking and a nice open lounge area, the hotel ticks all the boxes. I have since stayed at this hotel again, with the same level of experience.

We stayed here last weekend. We were in Swindon for a sports tournament weekend so were only looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to sleep one night. The hotel was bright, clean, comfortable and a very good price. We reserved 3 rooms which were booked at different times so we asked for them to be together if possible. We had booked through booking.com and the message had got through to them and our rooms were together. The rooms were small but adequate, crisp white bed linen, clean bathrooms and friendly staff on the reception. If you are staying for several nights the absence of a wardrobe may be an issue - there is just a funky lime green bar with a couple of hangers. It's location is fairly quiet, easy to get to, close to shopping and good value for money.

Came in for friends daughters christening party in May and stayed at the Campanile. Good hotel, clean and has all the amenities without being over priced, There are a number of hotels in Swindon and this is the first I stayed at, could'a booked at the express in the center of town but this sounded kinda fun. Bit noisy with the construction work going on nearby but still had a good nights sleep.
