I only stay here now when on business in the swindon area.
Cheaper than the prem inn and the food is excellent quality. Rooms are fairly basic but everything you need is there.
Free wi fi throughout the hotel and sky sports in the bar.
Give them a try.

The room was small with a lime green colour scheme !!. However as a short stay option this hotel is a good option. The room was clean if a little "tired" with tea & coffee facilities and quiet, The breakfast was good with a choice of cold meats and cheeses if you didn;t want the cooked option which was available - the breakfast area was well serviced and again clean and tidy. Finally the reception staff were efficient - check out is in the morning with pre-payment not an option. Overall I would stay here again

Great staff; very friendly and helpful. Nice that there's a bar there, as well, where you can relax, have a drink & check emails (FREE wi-fi is a huge bonus!). There's a restaurant, as well, but I didn't visit there, so can't say anything about the food. The rooms were modern and clean, though VERY small. The location was fine for us, even though it was located in a kind of industrial park, there were still other restaurants, banks, gas stations, etc. close by. In general, it was a nice hotel with all of your basic necessities and a good price - would recommend.

A group of us stayed overnight at the Campanile Swindon for business. The hotel is in a convenient location to drive to Swindon and the surrounds, with plenty of free paring outside. As it is in a commerce park, there is not much nearby, so don't plan on walking anywhere from the hotel.

We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and found the quality and value of the food to be very good for both meals.

The rooms were clean and comfortable (if a little green!), There are only a few TV channels though.

Overall, an excellent choice if needing a stop in or around Swindon - won't hesitate to use again.

What a lovely hotel! Clean well equipped and with helpful attentive staff. Yes the room was small but had everything i needed and funky decor, the bathroom was quite big! The check in process was simple and the restaurant lovely!! Especially the breakfast buffet!! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm working in Swindon!

We stayed here with our coach party for one night only...thank goodness. I don't think the hotel could cope with the number of people for breakfast and dinner. We were seated in a small room,14 to a table, which was not popular; people saying it was like the school canteen. You were in and out of the room to get different courses, toast, cereal etc served in a separate place to the cooked breakfast, served by the staff in a dark corridor. There was an ordinary kitchen 6 slice toaster for over 60 people..and it was SLOW. Food was awful, and this is usually the case if you are with a coach party. The room was ok for an overnight. Beds lovely, very quiet, but a total absence of drawers and cupboards puzzled us.No hand towels, ask at reception if you want a bath mat..too much like hard work in total. Dinner was at 8pm, too late and breakfast at 7am, too early.Might be a different experience if you don't go with a coach party.

Well, they wowed me! Lovely 'business' hotel; great value for money; staff friendly and efficient. Room small but perfectly adequate (although their lime green decor was a little over the top :( ). Plenty of parking and the 'grounds' were spacious and very green - excellent for walking the dog! Could show Premier Inn a thing or two (and I stay in those all the time because of locations) - come on, Campanile, open more hotels around the country. But while you're at it, DO try to get the spelling right on the large map (showing your venues) in the foyer, it doesn't look too professional... But the piece de resistance for us was the buffet. Both in the evening and for breakfast. It was a credit to the chef and a total pleasure to eat from. Excellent value and top class. Just wish I had another excuse to go back to Swindon. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Looking over the grounds - they are unusually attractive for a hotel on a business park in Swindon!
