Lovely walks through woodlands and a lake, great for dog walkers or ramblers. If you fancy a drink or cream tea Stanton House is near by.

Stanton has a lot to offer brilliant dog walks plenty to see , great scenery feeling tired pop in and have a coffee at Stanton house dogs need to be on. Lead for this otherwise they can roam free on numerous walks. Large river good fishing permit required feed the ducks. Love this place.

“A lovely Day out”

Peaceful-Quiet and relaxing is the best way to describe Stanton park, a nice place to walk or sit by the lake, mature woodlands to explore with good paths many suitable for wheelchairs.

“Ideal for young and old alike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2013

Located between Swindon and Highworth near the Honda plant.

The park consists of a couple of miles of well maintained pathways that meander around a central lake through old forests. Things to see include the Folly, Giant Redwood tree, Birds and bats galore, and a rangers house converted from an old farm house which includes a discovery room for kids.

Easy walking for kids and the maintained paths make it semi easy for wheel chairs, dog walkers are welcome (please clean up after your dog) so are cyclists and their are many platforms for fishermen around the lake.

Good access to the main road, good amount of parking, no entrance fee and the Stamford House Hotel is accessible from the park, via a connecting gate, for drinks and food.

“Easy dog walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

Pleasant place 2 go for a medium sized dog walk, usually busy during the summer, better when the tourist season has finished. Dogs can cool off at the bottom of the waterfall. Check out the bee keeping area, always interesting.
