“Wonderful Wednesday!”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

My husband and I came to the brewers last night for a relaxing evening. We arrived 15 minutes late, but the staff were polite, happy and had no problem at all! The bar man and waitress both looked very smart and presentable. We ordered a three course meal, each course tasting and looking outstanding! We were never short on drinks as the staff always asked to ensure we were ok. For starter we had Beef Chilli Nachos and Stuffed potato skins. So delicious! For main we ordered a pork wellington and steak pie. Again, both amazing! And finally we had Banoffee waffles and a sticky toffee pudding from the specials board. They were beautifully presented and tasted heavenly! I would definitely recommend this pub to everyone. Everything was just fabulous! I will be returning!! If you want good food, good service, good prices and a good environment, The brewers arms is the place for you.

“Excellent Christmas Meals”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

I've been to the Brewers Arms twice for xmas meals. Always wanted to go more, but Wanborough isn't close when you live in West Swindon. The food and the menu choices are always mouth watering, the service is good. Arkells beer isn't to everyones taste, but you can have lager, guiness or cider instead. This is somewhere to go for a special meal. It isn't cheap, but the food is high quality and comparable with The Weighbridge or other top restaurants in the Swindon area.

“Why do we bother”
Reviewed 4 September 2013 via mobile

Every time we come there is a huge wait for food and the incompetent chef instructs the bar staff not to take any more orders.

There are only 5 tables waiting to order all in all about 12 people and yet we are told no orders for half an hour. Ridiculous!

We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and trying again but every single time- without fail.

It's about time this pub got a chef who can cope or get him another pair of hands.
Until you do we will not be back

“Best family gastro pub in Swindon”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

Accommodating staff who are friendly, excellent food that caters to even coeliacs and not just vegetarians and the ambience add to make this charming pub a gem in Wanborough. Very good value for money when it comes to food and quality!!

“Delightful Experience”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Having read a number of bad reviews I was reluctant to book there for a family get together however compared to a number or other resteraunt choices , the brewers arms provided an excellent and varied menu that could please everyone. What a fantastic choice. A party of 15 arrived on Friday evening where we were provided with a warm and friendly welcome and directed to our tables where we were then asked for drinks which then arrived extremely efficiently considering nearly every table in the resteraunt was being catered for. The food arrived within about 30 minutes prior to ordering , which was beautifully presented and freshly cooked ! Everyone thougherly enjoyed their meal and surprising left room for dessert which again was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Despise the negative reviews this truly was an excellent evening and the food was superb , great value too! We will definately be visiting again!
