We were let down by another restaurant and rang here at 08:30 to see if they could take our party of 14, fortunately they could. The food was excellent and the service brilliant. We had a fantastic evening thanks.

This place is fantastic. 14 of us had a wonderful family meal here on Saturday night having been accommodated by the Patriot Arms at very short notice. Lovely home cooked food. Fantastic friendly service. Very very impressed. Thank you.

Having waited 40 minutes without being served in the restaurant of Alexandra House nearby, we phoned the Patriots Arms to see if they could accommodate a party of 14 at very short notice. They were more than happy to oblige, and we arrived a few minutes later.

We were made to feel very welcome. There was a varied menu and good selection of daily specials. All of us were really happy with our food. Very tasty, and everyone's meals were presented within a few minutes of each other. Very impressive!

Highly recommended.

This is our local and it's a great pub. We ate there for the first time in a while to see what they had served up for Vegetarian week. The food was really really good. Well presented and very tasty. Recommend the Lentil Bolognese with courgette spaghetti; the goats cheese pancakes were delicious, even if the helping was a little on the big size!
Service from Suzy and Dan was spot on and I can't recommend the Ramsbury Gold enough.

Called in to have a drink and review the food menu for another night , after reading reviews on Tripadvisor . Entering the car park we could hear loud music , on entering the pub we were deafened by loud music from a group playing in the bar area . Trying to order a drink was quite hard but we got there in end , the lady behind the bar said we could sit the restaurant area as she could see we did not like the loud music. The only ales on order was only Doombar and no bottle of Coke only from the pump ( which did not go down too well with my wife ). Did not see a menu , as we could not stand the noise . The pub itself was nice and clean , nicely decorated with a good sized restaurant . Maybe we will return , not on a Thursday !!!!!.
