Eat and drank in the Goddard's many times over the years - a regular haunt for a beer. However we've eating there a couple of times and on the last two occasions its been utterly uninspired food. I recollect the burger which was frankly rubbish with cold chips - not quite sure how a eatery can bugger up a burger unless they frankly don't care what junk they feed to customers. That said the beer is good, though the Ale's are kept in the same cellar as the lagers - hence a bit to cold.
