“Perfect one-night stay”
Reviewed 16 September 2012

Stayed for one-night as a stop travelling to the south coast, had no problems whatsoever. As with all Premier Inn locations I have stayed at, it was clean and modern with excellent facilities. Staff were happy to speak to you and advise of usual offers and guarantees. Good parking and location close to restaurant and other amenities nearby.

We have just stayed in family room No.9 and can happily say that the smell of smoke that was referred to in a previous review was absent.
I do find it dissappointing that people will selfishly disregard the Premier Inns no smoking policy.
However our greeting @ reception was warm and business like, our room was slightly larger than some Premier Inn family rooms we have been in.
This premier Inn is situated in the middle of an industrial estate ( clues in the address ) and as such there is nothing other than the pub to amuse guests. The food we had in the evening was fairly standard fare, but we always find the breakfasts good value and very tasty.
The hotel is a little further from the M4 than ideal, but this is reflected in the price you pay.

Excellent in every way. Was travelling with my wheelchair-user mother. Blue badge parking space near the entrance to the hotel, and our accessible room was close to reception. The room was fine, clean and tidy. Something we don't like so much about Premier Inn is that most of these hotels (Swindon Central included) only do double-bed accessible rooms, as opposed to twin bed rooms. There was no problem with our room at Swindon Central, they had put up a Z-bed for me, but a Z-bed isn't as comfortable as a 'real' bed and it would be nice (as at Premier Inn Taunton) to have a choice of a twin bedded room. Something we do like about Premier Inn is the bathroom door which slides rather than swings open - meaning the door is never in the way of the wheelchair, what great planning! Something else we appreciate is the attitude of staff, not fussy, just helpful, professional and friendly.
Very quiet night, and choice of soft/firm pillows. No problems. Thank you Premier Inn.

I arrived late, close to midnight, but still received a friendly and professional greeting. The room was comfortable in all aspects, temperature, bed, bathroom facilities etc. All boxes ticked, a good night. Too late for dinner and too early for breakfast, so can't comment about those

We arived at 11 pm on Friday night. Signage was minimal - glad I had checked beforehand using Google streetview. Parking adequate. The welcome was warm and efficient and we did not feel we were being rushed through it. We wanted a ground floor room but had forgotten to request this - nevertheless one was found. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and correctly provisioned. TV and WiFi worked fine.

In the morning the checkout person was keen to know if there was anything they could have done better - in fact we didn't feel anything could be improved! We did not have time to eat at this location. We will certainly stay there again if the opportunity arises.

We booked in for 2 nights on a special deal with Cash Back, at a very good rate. The welcome we got at reception was excellent, and the receptionist was very helpful in arranging taxis for us. The room was excellent, bright and colourful. It was clean and tidy, the bathroom was big and clean, with Imperial Leather in the soap dispensers over the bath and sink. The shower was a good quality, and the water was hot if needed. The pillows and duvet were excellent, blackout curtains ensured we had a really good nights sleep. It was quiet all night. Breakfast was delicious, the staff made sure you had enough to eat. Everything was laid out properly, nothing had run out. We didn't have to wait long to get the food, and didn't feel rushed eating it. The food was cooked very nicely, and you could order as much as you could eat. Plus help yourselves to cereals and toast etc. I would definitely go back to the hotel at Kembrey Business Park, Swindon Wiltshire.

Room Tip: We were in room 46, our family was in room 4, both good rooms to be in, but I imagine both floors ar...

reception was great, went for a meal in the pub later, with family we were meeting and it was awful, the service was rubbish, resulting in one child getting a rock hard pizza, one not getting her toppings as requested, so had to return it and wait for it to come back, and the 3rd child waited so long for her spagetti, that we had almost finished our meals when it turned up, along with another one a few minutes later!! Manager said new staff were being trained as the result of the mistakes! Cheers! breakfast the next morning was totally different!! Soo much better, lovely staff, breakfast cooked to order, and children supplied with extra cakes, toast etc when they had run out.

Room Tip: don't go in room 4, very squeaky floors, in the room and the room above!!
