Well placed and set away from the busy dual carriageway A419. Though this Premier Inn has the now expected friendly and sincere welcome and happy staff, it is probably one of the last of the group to be refurbished so don't expect any flat screen TVs and all the other better quality trimmings of most other hotels in the PI Group.

Would love to award 4 stars as the staff are great but beside the lack of refurbishment and the not so good Chef & Brewer adjacent to the hotel, then I can only provide the hotel with 3 stars.

Once Premier Inn refurbish and they resolve the problems of quality food and seating in the Chef & Brewer, Swindon North will probably be a five star.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at our hotel.

At Premier Inn we always strive to provide customers with a comfortable stay, and I apologise that on this occasion your stay was less than relaxing.

Your experience was far below our usual high standards, but be assured that the incident will be investigated to ensure it does not happen again.

Thank you again for your review; we sincerely hope to welcome you back to Premier Inn in the future.

We stayed for one night and didn't arrive until 8.30 pm and were worried there might not be anywhere to dine so late. The restaurant at the attached pub took food orders until 10pm, we had to wait 10 minutes for a table but it was worth it as the food was excellent and quite inexpensive. Breakfast is also served in the pub attached and had a wide variety of food, there was a table buffet for cereals, bread, toast, fruit etc. Juice and beverages are self-service which was great. The waiter took our order for cooked items and asked how many sausages, bacon, eggs we wanted.
The only down sides we found were that only 2 tea bags were supplied in the room and that we only had one bath towel and one hand towel between 2 of us.

Room Tip: Restaurant in attached pub took orders until 10pm which is great for late arrivals.

We arrived and our room was not what we booked. The staff were very good and sorted it straight away. The room was clean and bathroom tip top. The restaurant next door was fantastic for food at night and breakfast. A great hotel which we recommend highly.

Another excellent Premier Inn.

Last weekend needed a place to sleep over nioght. Booked in advance and arrived late afternoon.

Front desk manned and check in no bother at all.

Room had twin beds but as usual the mattresses are excellent, wouyld love to buy one like this for home.

When I turned in at 11:30 the next thing I knew it was 08:30, where did that night go.

Thanks to all of the smiling and helpful staff.
