“Some days you come here & you walk away...”
Reviewed 16 October 2010

Some days you come here & you walk away with nothing. At other times you find bargains galore. It is all down to luck & your frame of mind. For example having previously spent £200+ on suits elsewhere & fed up with the cost, I bought a suit for £85 (yes, £85 but it's a £200 suit). And an Antler bag (best cabin bag I have ever had) reduced from £85 to £30. And a very smart Ted Baker jacket half-price at £89. If you come long distance, make a weekend of it - visit the Cotswolds, Castle Coombe (just off M4 - beautiful) or Bath. We went to Bath - can be visited easily by train. And Steam Museum next to Outlet Centre is good. Go to Outlet Centre's website and you can get a 10% off voucher (valid in some shops only). Incidentally, if you spend £100+ you get free parking.

“Good Fun”
Reviewed 24 August 2010

Good range of shops selling reduced stock. Definatly some good buys to be had compared to the highstreet. Good choice in the food court too. If you have a couple of hours free for shopping definatly worth a look with parking only £1.

A complete waste of petrol, easy to find due to the immense amount of signposting throughout the town directing you to the area, however on arrival prepare yourself for disappointment.

You can cover the whole system of 4 wings within an hour, including time to eat a lunch in the fast food style cafeteria complex (overpriced). The outlets consist of the usual selection of shops selling out of season monstrosities which they couldn't sell in their high street shops.

Most amusing are the designer shops which offer 200 pounds off of a 600 pound suit, what a bargain :-)

Do not waste an hour of your life walking around this complex, perhaps the only good thing you can say about it is that it can provide cheap parking if you want to walk into Swindon Town (although I am at a loss to understand why anyone would want to frequent their grubby cloned town centre)

Has a good range of shops and the prices are good, the location is interesting in an old railway works with the national trust hq next door which has a good cafe along with the gwr train museum next to it. There are a few empty units at the centre at the moment but there is enough shops to pass a few hours ablnd bargains to be found.

“Disappointing, disappointing, disappointing!!!”
Reviewed 24 August 2009

As we were driving towards this 'attraction' it was being heavily marketed on local radio. Having arrived and walked round in all of 30 minutes I can see why.

This place is dreadful!

Set in old industrial premises, which have been given a modern new look and fair play for doing that ,(although I now know where my donations to the National Trust went.!).

In comparison to the retail outlets at Cheshire Oaks and York, let me leave you with one observation that says it all.

The purpose of a retail outlet is to give people the opportunity to buy 'High Street' at discount prices. Evidence of that is achieved by looking at the number of carrier bags people are carrying. Based on my observations not many people were buying!!!!!!

You might as well go to your local High Street!!!!!
