“Absolutely loved it, best private holiday accom I've had.”
Reviewed 17 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We booked this accommodation via Holidaylettings.co.uk and from first contact with Nadine she was delightful and welcoming. On arrival she settled us in and briefed us on the local area. She gave us the best welcome pack we have ever had. Her partner Martin has made up a comprehensive pack of visitor attractions in Shropshire that was a great help. The local area is beautiful as is just about the whole of Shropshire, we had the best time. Highlights were Ironbridge, the victorian village at Blist Hill, the RAF museum at Cosford, Shrewsbury, Bridgenorth, I could bang on for ever, it was great. I would have done more but I was waylaid by the scrumptious local ales that slowed me down a bit. As Arnie says, 'I'll be back!'

Nadine welcomed us even before we arrived. She quickly responded to all my questions and requests for the rental. It was well appointed with everything we need for our 4 night stay for an event at the International Center in Telford (just 10min drive away). Having the ability to cook and do laundry for a family with kids is awesome. The rental was the perfect size and a great location for a countryside walk or run as well as local pubs and grocery. Huge yard in the rear for the kids to play and run with Rowley the friendly dog and plenty of space for parking. Would return in a heartbeat!!! Thanks Nadine!

“Beautiful place, perfect for a relaxing weekend”
Reviewed 2 February 2012 for a stay in January 2012

I stayed here for 4 nights in January with my husband. I had a work event to attend in Telford during the week and we decided to extend the visit till Sunday so we could explore Ironbridge and the Shropshire countryside.

"The Stables" is a beautiful place. Set aside from the main house, clean, comfortable, and really, really pretty. We loved the loft ladder! Nadine took our booking and even checked our favourite brand of tea (a nice touch). We arrived late, were shown around the property, given a lovely bottle of wine, and then left in peace.

The bed was lovely, high, comfortable. Lounge has comfy sofas and blankets. Shower room clean and there is heated flooring (always nice).

Our only struggle was the lack of internet connection. I think if you're going out a lot this isn't an issue (and there are lots of leaflets etc so you don't necessarily need to google things) but if you're there on a work trip and need to access your emails, finding the spot by the lounge window where you can get 3g on your phone is quite a challenge!

We've already recommended the place to others and would definitely return to escape from it all!

“Lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 2 January 2012 for a stay in January 2012

I stayed here for 3 nights over New Year and got exactly what I wanted, a lovely place to stay with plenty of Peace and quiet. The owner Nadine is a lovely lady and can't do enough for you. Its out in the countryside in a small village but also handy for Telford and Shrewsbury and lots of sites nearby too. A great place for couples I would say.
