We had heard this was a must see and we were not disappointed. Take time to see the whole place. Just amazing.

Well displayed exhibits of tile making
Would be better to go in the week as they do not produce at weekends

I never knew tiles could be so interesting. And some are very beautiful too.
The museum is well arranged - you're not just going to see case after case of tiles. There are displays about how they're made, where they were used, what the factory was like, etc. And you get to have a brief wander in the modern factory, where tiles are still being produced, too.

Worth an afternoon.

I wasn't too keen on visiting this museum, but I'm glad I did! Very interesting and a lot to see. Worth buying the annual pass to take advantage of all the museums.

We visited as part of our trip to Ironbridge and were lucky enough to have a guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide. These tours only took place at11 o,clock on a Wednesday at the time of year we visited - there may be more in the summer. Wonderful display of very colourful tiles and tiles used in many prominent buildings in England i.e. Houses of Parliament. The tile factory still produces tiles for many locations. The work that goes into these tiles is amazing. We visited using an Ironbridge passport which entitles you to visit all the museums as many times as you like for a year. A great saving.
