“A walk back in time”

Didn't know what to expect but the collection of tiles is fantastic. Certainly a trip down memory lane in some rooms, reminding me of school days and my earliest jobs. If you are of an artistic bent, you could not fail to be inspired

“Don't visit at the weekend!”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

Was looking forward to seeing tiles being made and getting the chance to have a go myself but on arrival, the museum and shop was open but no other action going on. Very disappointed especially as display boards outside didn't indicate everything was closed. Only a Mon-Fri attraction.

“Informative museum”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

The museum is well-laid out with plenty of room to view the history of tile-making in the area. There are hundreds (thousands?) of examples of tiles, setting out the manufacturing process as well as insights into their design.

Inside a lovely building that is worth a look round on its own merit, houses an amazing collection of tiles - well worth a visit

“A good way to spend a few hours”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We are not really into museums but as we had purchased the Ironbridge attraction passport we visited this attraction one afternoon. It was well worth the visit, we really enjoyed seeing the great selection of tiles on display and those in situ. We would have liked to gone on a tour but none available on the day. I was surprised by the number of tiles that this tile factory produced in its hey day.
