We have just returned for a nights stay at the WIndfalls and it was amazing. I took my wife so we could have time together to relax. It was everything and more. It was the most amazing most relaxing most beautiful place. I would highly reccomended this hotel to everyone. Alison and Lawrance the owners are also really lovely people. We will be returning thats for sure.

We stayed here for one night as a treat for my husbands 60th birthday and my goodness what a beautiful place to relax & spoil yourself! Where to start!! Firstly Alison is just adorable its like visiting with a loved freind, she is friendly helpful and fun to chat with.
The room was simply beautiful!! The bathroom heavenly (the wall was decorated wonderfully, Alsion told us her husband Lawrence worked hard for the effect & it showed!) I had ordered chocs champagne & flowers all of which were of excellent quality unlike some hotels where we have been!! And please please have a cream tea again excellent.
The breakfast the next morning was more than a full English but we some how mananged to eat it all!! And sitting with the other guests at one large table was great as everyone chatted and all very informal and friendly.
We simply loved it here!

Although the location may seem a little diverse, this hotel is the BEST one I have ever stayed in. The decor of the house is stunning and the room has everything you could possibly desire for the perfect escapist treat. We stayed in the Lotus room and it was gorgeously decorated with the most amazing en-suite bathroom. Even the inclusion of Tigi Bed Head shampoo and Molten Brown lotions shows the level of detail and luxury that Alison and Laurence have put into your stay. The room has a lovely TV and Playstation 3, which has tempted us to buy one ourselves!

The afternoon we arrived, we were greeted with a cream tea in the lounge whilst enjoying the multi-sensory experience that is Windfalls - music softly playing, charming aromas and velvet cushions comforting us as we tucked in to cream and jam scones! Breakfast in the morning was just as delightful with Laurence on hand to rustle up a gorgeous English breakfast.

If you want a taste of luxury and some real peace and quiet (it might be near the motorway, but you can't hear the traffic!) I thoroughly recommend Windfalls. And the sat nav finds it perfectly too!

Many thanks Laurence for a wonderful stay and we look forward to going back in the future.

From the moment we arrived, we could not have been looked after any better. The rooms were amazing, the service was first class and I wouldn't hesitate to return again. I can't describe how perfect our stay was.

Alison and Laurance made us very welcome from the time that we arrived.

We were looking for a very relaxing break after having both worked extremely hard of late. This was the prefect antidote. We cannot fault our stay. We would recommend the local Indian restaurant as serving up excellent food. The room was extremely comfy and well- equipped with a rain shower and flat screen television. The bed was so comfortable!

We will return which - we think -is a measure of how much we enjoyed ourselves.

Spent two nights here - relaxing right from the start. We had cream tea on arrival and Alison had gone to the trouble of finding gluten-free scones for me. The bedroom was lovely - four poster bed, TV with play station/ DVD player, hospitality tray, large bathroom well equipped with toiletries and really soft towels. The lounge was very comfortable with a large selection of DVDs available to borrow. Lots of scented candles and soft music playing. Breakfast was served at a time to suit us and there was a wide choice. Alison was very helpful and attentive throughout the stay without being intrusive. The decor throughout was very impressive.
Over all it was a wonderfully relaxing break from start to finish and we would thoroughly recommend this small hotel to couples looking for a relaxing get-away and we hope to return soon
