“Good quality airport hotel”

We stayed here night before flying out to Tenerife early the following morning, got a special rate through the Daily Telegraph.

The room was clean and very large. We had a double and a single bed which was a convenient as I had my baby with us which I had "neglected" to mention on check-in as I couldn't get the Telegraph offer if he was added to the booking ;-) The bathroom was clean but looked dated.

We didn't eat at the hotel, so we can't comment.

You have to pay for parking at the hotel though there is nothing on their website to mention this but residents receive a special rate.

For those who need provisions there is a 24hr Tesco superstore around the corner (10 minutes walk), so the front desk for directions. I walked there at 23:30 at night, completely safe.

I would stay here again provided the price was right.

Stayed here one night for morning flight. Got a great deal with a parking for a week. Check in very quick and easy staff polite,friendly and helpful, asking if we knew where to take our car, times of restaurant and time bar served food. Room large and had everything we needed tea coffee comfy bed nice clean good sized bathroom. Went to the bar for a drink and had dinner there food was excellent. Again staff polite and friendly. Bar prices not cheap but all hotels around that area are so not surprised. Check out in the morning was also quick and easy and staff bright and happy even early in the morning. Would stay again for sure for the price you could not beat it.

Stayed in the hotel for one night and decided to try the restaurant. Ordered the brasserie chicken stack, a chicken burger with fresh chicken breast. Burger came out looking nicely grilled but took one bite and realised I was eating a 95% raw chicken breast! Unbelievable, I am currently waiting for food poisoning to kick in! Burger replaced quite quickly but issue not resolved satisfactory. Money back only after much discussions and only then for my meal alone! Will see what local environmental health have to say on Monday! On a positive note rooms are ok! Stay here but eat at your own risk!

We stayed here for one night, as I suspect most do, before an early flight from Gatwick. The main reason for staying was that it was only marginally more expensive to stay for a night with a week's parking at the airport's long stay carpark than it was just for the parking. I think they may do their own parking, but we used the airport long stay.

If we ignore the fact it's not a great way to spend New Year's Eve, having to stay over for an early flight the next day, then the hotel wasn't too bad. The receptionist was very helpful, and we could have had a five course 'special' meal to celebrate NYE. But this hadn't been advertised in advance and so we'd stuffed ourselves earlier in the day. The hotel did seem a bit soulless, but you don't stay in airport hotels for their ambience.

The room was fine, clean enough, with a decent bed and a clean bathroom. The main problem we had was the interconnecting door to the adjacent room. This led to poor sound insulation and we were regaled by the loud calls made by the man next door. My husband snored in retaliation.

There is internet, but you have to pay for it. However, the receptionist was happy to print out our boarding card if we emailed it to them. The staff were very friendly, even working a dead shift on NYE. So if you want combination of good airport parking and a reasonable hotel, then this is fine.

Room Tip: Avoid a room with an nterconnecting door

Stayed in this hotel in November 2011 just for one night before an early morning flight to Morocco the following day, at first this hotel seemed brilliant nice big reception area very well furnished etc. Checked in fine and ordered a wake up call for 5.30 the following morning. The room was nice, big and spacious with a power shower and flat screen TV. Found the room to be very cold though, turned up the thermostat as high as it could go but the room was still cold. The next morning woke up via own alarm clock on mobile at 5.15 (had only set the wake up call as a last resort encase mobile didn't go off) 5.30 came and went but no wake up call, wasn't an issue as was already awake however if i hadn't been i would have been demanding money for a new flight. Just as we were about to leave the room the fire alarm went off at around 6, yet again not really an issue for me as i was just leaving but lots of unhappy people stood outside who didn't have to be up so early for a false alarm. So all in all nice facilities but need to get better heating and make sure wake up calls actually go off!

I apologize that your experience was anything less than satisfying. Our goal is to not only meet the needs of each and every guest we serve, but to exceed your expectations to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, however with regards to wake up call, its a courtesy service our hotel provides and we do have a disclaimer notice at the reception.

With regards to Fire Alarm, its design to safe guards our guest,team and hotel, which is a very sensitive and must say very reliable and efficient system. We take all our fire alarm situation very seriously and with out proper investigation & go head from the fire brigade we do not allow our guest and team to enter the hotel. The system in place to keep our guest safety in mind and if it was cause of inconvenience then I would like to pass my sincere apologises.
We also provide additional potable heaters to the room in case our guest feel the room is cold, which can be requested through Reception
It is our hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you and hope to see you during your next visit.

We stayed here as part of a park and stay deal.
The room was clean, if a bit dated but the price was excellent, we will certainly do the park and stay thing again!

Stayed at the Ramada Crawley for early morning flight although we arrived early the room was ready.The room itself was clean and tidy compares well with other buget hotels. We both had a snack and a meal both were adaquate but a bit over priced. Booking in and out was no promblem.Would definaltly stay there again if the need arised again.
