“Fabulous staff, comfortable rooms”

Staff are always very friendly and efficient; if there is ever any problems (tv etc) they are quick to fix it; rooms are very spacious and comfortable; free wifi internet in all rooms works great, allowing me to surf the web or watch iPlayer freely; would definitely recommend!

Room Tip: I prefer the back of the hotel overlooking the sports fields.

£52.00 for a good size room and 3 nights parking, you can't do much better! All the normal facilities of a quality hotel including indoor pool, free wifi and well furnished room. Only downside was that the windows are sealed and due to the infective AC the room was very warm and stuffy.

Room was tired and drastically needs upgrading but my understanding is that the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment programme. We booked very last minute and at a good price but had I paid full price then I would be bitterly disappointed. The room was a good size but the beds need changing, very old and uncomfortable. The staff were very nice and the location perfect for the airport. Shame that you have to pay extra for overnight parking but at £5 per night, it's lower than some other hotels nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the refurbished rooms.

Your understanding is correct, we will be undergoing refurbishment; this is not in immediate action as these things take time.
I’m disappointed to hear your stay wasn’t as comfortable but as I said our plans for refurbishment take time. Also most, if not all, airport hotels charge for parking.

I’m pleased to hear our staff were pleasant

Please book with us in the future when we have fully refurbished

Stayed here one night before our flight, when we arrived we realised we had stayed here a few years back when it was a different name and we remember then it was a great stay. Check in from a young lady called Kelly who was down from the north was very quick and smooth. Had a lovely room on the 4th floor, very large and everything you needed for a night stay was there. We ate in The Restaurant that night and the food was really tasty.
Would recommend this hotel and we would stay again:)

Stayed January 2014 one night before early flight. Booked as a good deal with RAC with car parking at APH too. Beds were comfy. Good size family room. All very clean. Decor was fine. Only staying one night, what are you really looking for? Didn't try the food as not required. Quick efficient check in. No problems with parking. Would stay again if flying from Gatwick. Excellent value for money.

Stayed a birthday party.. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The stand out feature was quality of the breakfast buffet anything you could want ! well cooked.

The location is good for business, maybe not for tourists

We booked into this hotel for convenience and as part of a combined parking & stay package with HolidayExtras.

This included dinner and a meet & greet at airport on return.

Easy to find and a good secure car park. Reception staff very nice and welcoming, which is always a good start to a stay.

Rooms on 6th floor with good views. The room was spacious and clean, however there was some discolouration and lime scale behind bath taps.

We booked a table for dinner for 7pm and duly turned up at dining room reception. We then saw that we had apparently already arrived and were sat at our table!!!

We were given another table and thought no more about this. However after ordering drinks and our meal, we received the drinks within 7-8 minutes, but the dinner did not arrive until 48 minutes after placing our order. Even then it was wrong, my partner ordered chorizo & pea risotto,what they brought was a butternut squash risotto.

I ended up eating my dinner & she had to wait.

Then on asking for the bill for drinks, we find they had charged for one of the drinks incorrectly, overcharging by £2.75. This was rectified, however I then went to reception and spoke to the Guest Services Manager, Srapna Mistry who was very pleasant and professional. She promised to speak with the staff and come back to me later.
The restaurant staff themselves were all nice and polite.

About 30 minutes later the telephone rang & it was Shrapna calling to once again apologise and that they had removed the drinks from our bill.

She was the excellent face of the hotel and obviously is highly thought of there.

Overall the hotel is okay, good rooms and as I said very nice staff. One thing I would say in the hotels defence was that they had a very large delegation in from EDF & this obviously stretched resources on the night.
