I stayed here as I overnighted before a business flight from Gatwick. The hotel is located close to Gatwick airport, it is set up as a stopover hotel and nothing more.
Its obvious that the staff are not trained to deal in customer retention as their level of service leaves a lot to be desired.
I arrive late, tired and ready to sleep before my early start the next day.
My room was possibly the closest to reception but it took me SIX visits to reception before I could access my room as the ignorant men would not believe that my keycard was not working.
So - 25 minutes after I first checked in I managed to enter my room, when they FINALLY gave me a keycard that worked!
I asked for a 5am wake up call which I never received! What a surprise!
The £10 parking fee is ridiculous! Yet another money making scam from this hotel that want to deal only in customer turnover and not in the hope that they may get some repeat business.
I did not use the bar or restaurant, although if the service was anything like the service received at reception I am happy I avoided it!
The rooms are nice, bathroom is clean and spacious.
The cost is cheap, even so I would rather pay a little extra and receive some decent service rather than be treated like dirt here again!More
