Amy's Restaurant was packed when I visited but the staff were working flat out and the service was brilliant. My waitress recommended the soup of the day Which was leek and something else with coconut I went with the recomendation and was glad I did. Itwas creamy with a hint of coconut and microherbs on top. It was delicious I could easily have eaten another bowl. My main was the mixed grill with fillet steak , Fillet of lamb and Chorizo served with a side salad and chunky home made chips. The meat was cooked to perfection the chips were light and crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Overall a lovely meal served by very busy but efficient staff. Unfortunately I couldn't manage a dessert but if you are a dessert person there was a lovely choice and I feel sure they would have all been as good as the rest of my meal.
Therefore if you find yourself at the Hilton in Gatwick don't miss the chance of eating at amy's.

I tend to be a bit suspicious of hotel restaurants – experience has shown that they sometimes take their captive clientele for granted and the experience can be an expensive disappointment. Well, although the guests at the Hilton, Gatwick, could hardly be more captive and the outside competition less challenging, Amy’s Restaurant takes nothing for granted.

We ate there on a one-night stop before an early morning flight and dined very well over three courses – the sea bass and the duck mains were excellent, satisfying both carnivores and vegetarians. The service was friendly and attentive without being overpowering. At £150 for four, including a modest amount of wine, this was an affordable pleasure as a pre-holiday treat.

We always go yo Amy's before our annual trip to Orlando and find it to be quite well priced with good, but not amazing, food.

The service is always impeccable.

A great start to our holiday.

Food was OK, service could have been better waiters very friendly, beer and wine wonderful!
Quite why the restaurant doesn't have the menu simply stating exactly what the food is I am not sure...eg..Pont Neuf potatos are actually thick cut chips
