Description: Whatever the reason for a visit, The Gatwick Manor is the perfect historic setting for enjoying delicious traditional pub food, including seasonal specials and leisurely Sunday lunches. We also share our grounds with a Premier Inn, if you are wanting to stay with them you will have to book through their website due to the differing companies. We also cater for weddings and party functions, however this is set aside from the Chef and Brewer business. If you are interested or need more information please dial the normal number and press option 1.

I am a regular diner with my partner at the Gatwick Manor, and continue to visit due to the overall good service and excellant food at good prices. The specials are always great, and especially enjoyed the Game menu during October/November; giving us opportunity to try some new dishes.

Highly recommend the Scallops and black pudding starter! Its beautiful!

The Manor concentrates on well cooked and presented english cuisine. We eat there at least once a week and we really never have any problems with the food or service. On the day in question my wife had the cauliflower and stilton soup followed by battered cod with salad and I started with battered king prawns with sweet chilli dip, the tempura batter wsa light and crisp. I followed with Pheasant breasts. we were both unfortunately unable to cope with a desert as well but the goosberry and ginger crumble looked mouth watering,
The restaurant and bar date in parts back to the 13th, 14th and 15th century which makes for a fantastic atmosphere. From our table we looked out over the moat and watched the sunset while we ate. I have also taken parties of my staff there for special occasions and have never regretted it, the staff are always very pleasant and the food is always excellent.
One word of warning, we always eat early in the evening but later on they get very busy and it would be advisable to ring for a reservation.
All in all Gatwick Manor is a real gem and we will continue going there very regularly.
