Georgous hotel, lovely open plan feeling to the foyer area, which is charming. Staff were extremely helpful, especially Dominic who was professional and attentive to our every need, but not too over the top. The situation of the hotel together with facilities are second to none. Our bedroom, was perfectly clean and tidy. The food is a bit too expensive and not great quality, cheaper options in town. A great nights sleep and gorgeous Buffet breakfast was a perfect end to our stay. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for one night (1 Sept) before flying out from Gatwick the following day. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the town and our room was spacious and clean. Lovely big comfortable bed and modern bathroom. We didn’t eat or drink here as it was too expensive for us - £20 (average) for a main course – but we found a good pub in town. A shuttle bus is available to take you to and from Gatwick airport and only costs £2.50 per person each way. Would happily stay here again for a stop-over.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel are next to the train station - we didn't have one of these r...

My husband and I were hoping for a few days where we could relax before I flew out. We won't be together for at least a few months. Which seems horrible enough as newly weds. First, the spa and steam room are closed for renovation. There was no mention of this on the website. I would not have booked with this hotel if I had known. The staff made no efforts to amend this oversight. I did call and enquire about the spa services ahead of time. The staff made no effort to make our stay better when my husband complained. For future reference they are hoping the renovations will be done in November.

In addition, we were given directs for the long way around when we went into town. There are better directions on the website.

We went to the pub. They made changes to what I ordered. The pasta was not what was on the menu and the mushrooms were not 'forest mushrooms.'. They did not tell us about the changes and it tasted horrible. When we ordered something different in lieu, they again made changes. They did not refund the money. Nor did they give us the difference since We ordered a cheaper meal.

Having stayed here for 2 weeks whilst away on business I will say its the best hotel I have stayed in the Crawley / Gatwick area (also stayed at the Crown Plaza Crawley, Holiday Inn Express Crawley, Hilton Hotel Gatwick South). The hotel is located off the back of Crawley train station and you get private access to the station. Hotel rooms are massive with great TV and fridge etc. Has a bar that shows all the football and very secure with key swipes on alot of the doors. Had a problem with the lights in my room but fixed in no time. Would recommend staying here for a short or longer stay.

I stayed here on Business and found it to be very good, unlike most Gatwick hotels it doesn't feel like a departure lounge with most people just passing through, much better atmosphere. The best of the Gatwick hotels in my opinion, rooms good, location good and the food is very good even if the service can be slow at times. Ask for a room in the new part if you have a choice.

A very modern looking hotel. Very easy to find - just 5 minutes off the motorway. Reception staff were really helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable - nice bathroom with bath and seperate shower cubicle, a good selection of toiletries and fluffy clean towels. Only minus was the In-room tea/coffee which was a bit sparse. The parking was excellent - underground with CCTV so no worries leaving the car while we were away.

I stayed here for a week on business. The hotel is very centrally located, its very clean and looks modern. You can get into the hotel directly from platform 2 of Crawley train station which was good.

Its quite a large hotel and was always very busy when I stayed. Due to its close location to Gatwick airport it had a lot of air passengers and also airline staff (trolley dolleys) staying here.

Room was spacious, very clean, had a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, iron, good bathroom facilities.

The only gripe was that the restaurant breakfast service was a little poor, with a full hotel the staff find it very hard to cope with a full breakfast room. Poor service, lack of clean tables, slow service of tea/coffee/toast etc. When we did get breakfast it was very good though.

Also the price of food in the restaurant in the evening was quite steep! On checking out the receptionist tried to overcharge me and when questioning my bill she then told me there were gratuities automatically added to my bill (which I asked to be removed as service wasn't that good!).

Overall a nice hotel but would benefit from a few more English speaking staff as I found there to be all foreign staff working here and their English was not great.
