Really lovely setting for this theatre in its own green space with plenty of free parking. Wide variety of shows throughout the year to appeal to all. Prices seem to have become a lot steeper since it was taken over by a private company from the council. Theatre is always clean and comfortable with good accessibility. Catering is fair.

Hello SC
Thanks for your kind comments. Glad you enjoy the shows. Pricing on tickets is usually set in conjunction with promoters and sometimes reflects the fact the shows are for example West End hit shows.
Also bear in mind that all ticket prices are 'true' ticket prices and there are no extra booking or transaction charges waiting around the corner!
Hope to see you again soon!

The Theatre is set in its own green space Grounds and has a wide variety of shows on offer through out the year.
Was until 2011 a council run venue with an award winning excellent customer service record.
Now a private company run theatre where customer service is not a priority.

I am a frequent visitor, and have never been disappointed. Such an enormous range of different performances, reasonably priced, always a great evening. The wheelchair platform is ideal for me

I have been here a few times, most recently for a folk festival and to see a play - loads of parking which is free, we walked into town and went shopping and had lunch then came back to the venue to watch the show. Bar prices reasonable.

I've seen amazing shows here; dance, theatre, music. Parking is good, and a modern but pleasant auditorium.
But the bar is small and understaffed, and the 'cafe' serves prison-style canteen food. What a wasted opportunity, guys. There are no eateries nearby, so you've got a perfect place for a restaurant.
