This hotel has no personality and no charm whatsoever, and in my view is best avoided.

There are other better hotels as close to North Terminal and they couldn't possibly be as unpleasant as this one.

When I arrived, there was a queue for one of the 4 lifts that takes you to the reception floor. It took a while.
Once there there was another queue for the self check in.... it was all very busy and noisy.

The room has absolutely no character, but then again it is not supposed to. They publicize that they have great pillows. I tried two different ones and disliked both.

The dining area was full and I just couldn't bring myself to sit there.

The hotel stated they had free wifi but BEWARE, it is free for only 30mins. You need to pay for it afterwards.

It was noisy outside all night, Gatwick is apparently extremely busy. But the biggest problem was the noise other guests made during the night. Unfortunately I could only manage to sleep a couple of hours. Had I known this I would have rather traveled early in the morning the next day directly to the airport - I was staying at Premier Inn due to an early flight the next day.

The only nice thing was breakfast. And the waitress, even though she was alone to serve the whole room, was very kind and helpful.

We often use Premier Inn as they can usually be relied on for cleanliness and comfort. We stayed here prior to an early flight and after a late one. It is very big and high tech with check in done on a touch screen. The outgoing stay was fine except for a surprisingly creaky (for a new hotel) bed..other than that the room was quiet considering it's next door to the airport. The bar and restaurant area were quite stylish. The service was fine and the food ok.

On our return we stay we were on a different floor. This time we didn't have to get up early and were looking forward to a shower and a comfy nights sleep. My husband had a shower before we went to have a meal, but I decided to have one before bed. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the water ...which wasn't very warm... so no shower! Sadly we had another creaky bed which creaked every time we turned over and woke us! We had the breakfast which was nice apart from the poor quality sausages with tough plasticky skins. Also, although checkout is at noon, we had a cleaner knock on the door and open it before I even had time to get across the room! (could have been embarrassing!) It's amazing that this hotel with it's high tech check in can't provide their cleaners with some sort of digital display to alert them to the vacated rooms.

We mentioned these problems when we checked out and will be getting a refund for the creaky bed causing the bad night's sleep.

this was my second stay at this hotel this year and I must say its very good value for money.Its very clean restaurant is very good and if your travelling from the north terminal its just a 5 min walk.

We used the Premier Inn for one night as our return flight from our holiday was expected to land around midnight. As it turned out it was past 1am before we checked in. The deal that clinched it for us was the room and parking offer. With two younger children and four cases for a family holiday, being able to use the valet parking and have a very short walk to/from the terminal makes all the difference.

The hotel itself is incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms felt very clean and fresh. It was tight for a family of four but the convenience far outweighed the compact room. It was also very quiet.

Breakfast was the familiar Premier Inn all-you-can-eat and was spot on. Kids eat free with paying adults. We ate well and were on our way home soon afterwards, thanks to being next door to the valet parking collection (right next door).

Overall, it was excellent value for money and a perfect end to our holiday. Driving home after a late night arrival wasn't something we were looking forward to. The whole room and valet parking deal came recommended and was a no-brainer . We'll definitely use it again.

Gary location for an overnight at Gatwick, we booked a package with parking which is competitively priced and easy to drop the car off. Let down by the restaurant, meal arrived cold and took too long to re appear. If you use the restaurant pre book a table before you arrive to get your choice of time. Rooms are functional no complaints - not enough lifts for the number of rooms and reception was very busy on arrival. The 2 min walk into the terminal is a big plus point.

Clean room, easy access to North terminal, lifts were not a problem, you can always use the stairs. Food good in restaurant but a little slow. We sat down at six and were not finished until eight - people were beginning to moan. With the fifteen nights car parking the value is excellent. Will certainly use again.

Room Tip: Use the stairs instead of the lift. To access the life from the ground floor you need you room key.

We stayed here for one night before we flew to Spain on hols. I had forgotten to book airport parking so we got a lift there the evening before an early morning flight.

Checked in really easily and quickly. Room fairly non descript but clean. My boys (14 & 10) had twin beds in our room so it was all a bit snug but had everything we needed and only cost £40.

Room had air conditioning which we turned off as it was a bit too cold.

We had a drink in the bar downstairs but didn't eat. It was pretty busy but we got a table ok. Menu seemed ok and not too expensive. Food looked a bit insipid but ok. Drinks reasonably priced.

Great for a stopover.
