As ever for Premier Inn, a comfortable family night in a family room (1 double, 1 sofa bed, 1 pull out bed). We use them as my teenage kids don't want to share a double bed/sofa these days so the separate beds, although all side by side, works for them. We booked here on an advance package and got a great rate, booking the all you can eat breakfast (free for kids) knowing the aircraft food would be rubbish (it was). We also eat in the restaurant and had a great meal, something for the fussy kids as well as us adults to enjoy, and staff friendly and helpful. The waiter suggested my daughter (10) try a special blue children's cocktail, and when she was hesitant said he would make one for her anyway and if she didn't like it we wouldn't have to pay - she loved it! Staying here the night before our flight, even though it was a lunchtime flight, made for a really relaxed start to our holiday, no worries about road closures, accidents, delays etc.... No airport noise in the rooms and walk across the road into the terminal.

Room Tip: Use this even if travelling from South Terminal as it's right next to the shuttle terminal between the two.

This hotel makes an early morning flight a pleasure instead of a pain. Right next to North Terminal, but with no aircraft noise, it was a comfy and quiet bed for the night at a very cheap price. Our TV didnt work and I telephoned reception and within 5 minutes (maybe less!) another remote arrived with very pleasant service. Top notch - we will stay again.

We stayed here overnight and used the valet car park. The hotel was to a very high standard, check in is easy and quick. Rooms are clean and functional and you can take up your trolleys and they fit in the rooms no problem. Each room has individual temperature control. Bar area is nice, and there is a lovely outside seating area in the centre of the hotel. Restaurant is not the best, menu is not that great and it is pricey for what it is. Costa coffee is a nice touch in the bar area. Overall good hotel for overnight, and would definitely use again. Valet car park was so easy to use and the service was excellent, would definitely use again.

Room Tip: All rooms the same have used two only difference is some slightly bigger than other.

We stayed on the 22nd July as we had a morning flight the next day. We arrived at about 3pm and there were no queues, a friendly member of staff helped us check in using the computers which was quick and simple.
The rooms were great for an overnight stay. Beds very comfortable and rooms very modern and spotless.
We thought the drinks and menu at the hotel were quite expensive so we ate at Wetherspoons in the South terminal and brought some drinks and snacks up to the room.
We noticed after 5pm there were many people queuing for the lifts and check in so we were glad we arrived early.
We were a bit disappointed when we checked out as there was no member of staff to take our cards or say bye to so we just left them on the side.
The hotel was a great price and location was perfect as it is just opposite the terminal so we would use it again if travelling from Gatwick North.

Upon arrival we were greater by a friendly staff member who pointed us to the lifts and we made out way up to reception, I tried to check in automatically which was extremely easy bug had issues due to large number in our room so received some ole sent help straight away and booked in within seconds. All this was straight forward so I have no complaints there!
In the room we had the double bed and 2 singles for our children, but also a cot! Now due to this it was a nightmare and could not move! The kids had to climb over the beds to get in them, the hilton wanted over £200 for a trim to suit us all when we paid £46 here so you have to weigh it up I guess. I think I will pay the extra next time purely for comfort as it was not comfy in this room!!! However if it was just my husband and I it would of been totally fine!
We did not eat in the reserant so can't comment but absolutely lived the costa coffee!
We walked over to the airport the night before to collect our money which literally took us one minute!

So to sum it up.... Yes very busy but its an airport hotel so expected!
Staff were friendly and effeciant when there was no cot in our room.
Very small room so absolutely not suitable for more than 2 adults and one small child so as a family we won't stay here again but as a couple we would.
Very close to the airport so don't have to worry about the car or the time!
