My husband and I had made this booking through Thomson, as we flew from Gatwick. We payed £75 for one night stay and two weeks parking.
We arrived at the hotel and were impressed by the quaint and picturesque views surrounding the property. We had selected a property that was close to the airport, so we expected to hear the aeroplane's taking off and landing.
We entered the hotel and where we met an older lady. She did not introduce herself, nor did she engage in any form of polite conversation or pleasantries.
We were shown to Room 9. It was very basic, the bedroom and bathroom seemed clean and tidy however the furniture and bathroom suite are very dated and tired. The bed did not look inviting, it was a divan and there was not a properly fitted sheet in place which looked awful and also a little dirty.
There was a small 'bar area' which was situated within a newly renovated part of the building, this was very nice.
Our taxi dropped off and collected us promptly from the Airport, this cost £10 each occasion. We collected our car with no issues following our holiday.
Good value for money in regards to parking, but the room was not nice.
