Booked this as we were going to Leigh sports village to see Elton John and wanted a quiet retreat away from crowds afterwards.Christine very amiable, nothing too much trouble. Fabulous bathroom with roll top bath, just had to have one despite the late return after concert.Breakfast cooked fresh in front of you, would definately recommend and use again.

I was looking for a B & B as working in the area for around 10 weeks and with reviews left by others stumbled across this little gem, I think you would have to go far to beat this one. Stayed in a couple of different rooms and everything is as it should be, clean, tidy, rooms cleaned every day, full breakfast and at a time you require. Currently looking out across the fields from my balcony couldn't get better. Also ample off road parking.

Room Tip: East facing room with balcony look out over the fields, west facing room with balcony watch the sun...

Everything was great. Christine is a very good hostess without being "pushy." Everywhere was clean and the breakfast was freshly cooked. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. I was especially pleased that there was fresh milk available for tea and coffee and, though we didn't need them, facilities to cook a snack are a nice extra touch.

Didnt like the stairs going up to our room. I felt like my knee was going under me and I didnt like the slanted walls as me and my partner kept banging our heads. I struggled getting in and out of the bath as the bath panel nearly broke off. Bed wasnt comfy as I had sore shoulders next morning. Breakfast was awful. I love my sausages proper cooked and proper well done. Proper breakfasts should be steaming hot and it wasnt and the bacon was a disgrace.

After a last minute booking my dad found this to be an excellent place to stay with kind and welcoming hosts and excellent accommodation and it was well situated for the Trafford centre. He would definitely recommend a stay here.
