What we had was okay and the service was good but there are a few things that need to be looked at , just small but needs keener management.

New improved extended bar area, makes this place a very nice environment, with a choice of good beers.

Visited the Victoria Inn on a Sunday evening, we had booked our table. After waiting an hour for our main course to arrive, everything we asked for and didn't ask for was completely ignored. 'No mustard on the burger, different chips, no coleslaw'. The burger came full of mustard with coleslaw and the original chips. The waiter did ask if we wanted the burger re-doing but after waiting an hour there was no way we were waiting any longer. Desserts.....didn't wait long for these but we asked for one with pouring cream and when it arrived, that was ignored also so that was taken back. It seems that the chefs don't read what the waitresses write down. Also, the waiters were quite friendly but the waitresses were quite the opposite. Visited here once before and they got our main course order wrong then but the service was a lot quicker, this is why I returned. On saying all this, the food was very good but I don't know if I would return as the food took so long and put a bit of a dampener on our evening

Came here for tea with my daughter, friend and friends daughter. Lovely welcome, quite busy for a weekday tea time. Found a table and ordered our food, THE BEST homemade fish finger butties and chips I've ever tasted!! Service great, friendly staff, fab food! I've visited the bar previously on a night out too, gets very busy so arrive early. One to recommend!
