With a friend, i went on a journey to try out a number of local independent coffee shops, as recommended by the local newspaper. The Coffee Shop at Heaton was one of the friendliest and most welcoming and, in my opinion, served one of the best coffees that I have ever had (n and I.ve drunk coffee in many places in the UK and abroad). Need I say more.

Drove over Bolton way today, was recommended the Coffee Shop at Heaton by a friend. Lovely morning. High quality coffee and cakes for adults and really good milkshakes and ice creams for the children. Lovely relaxed setting, real mix of old and young. Would definitely recommend!

Went for lunch today and it was excellent. Service was exceptional and food was awesome. Great value and great atmosphere. Homemade soup was stunning!!!!

Love this place! I visited several times when I was back from Oz a couple of years ago and it became my go-to spot to catch up with family and friends. Great coffee, food and excellent service.
