We've been here twice this year. The first time was quite okay.
Today we went for a late lunch (Christmas Eve) and we left disappointed with the poor food and service, or rather management of the restaurant. There were only a few people in there. My first big mistake - if a restaurant is busy, then you may have to wait, but it will usually be good. If you have to wait quite at the wait sign more than a few minutes in a near empty restaurant, you are better off going elsewhere. The food of the lunch menu was ok, well the starter was - the burger was not up to the standard of a kids menu burger from McDonalds, and the few chips served up with it, were not cooked properly.
Hopefully, this chain's management sort this restaurant out quite soon, otherwise it will quickly go the way of many others, i.e. bust. Shame, because earlier this year when we went there it seemed a lot better. Maybe that's because we had alcoholic drinks & ate from the full menu then, not the "quick lunch menu" for £ 6.95. Still, with Burger King just aroudn the corner, they need to do better than they did today.
