Thank you to Julia & Colin for making our stay special. Really kind of you to drop us off and pick us up from the milton keynes bowl and the breakfasts you made us were simply fantastic. The room we stayed in was perfect also (room 3). I don't think there are any learns I could give as feedback just keep doing what your doing!

Thank you for a wonderful relaxing break.

Woburn Abbey is nice for a day out if it's sunny. Room 3 was amazing to stay in and breakfast is amazing, so much care and attention to detail in everything at south lodge, it really was a pleasure to visit.

Room Tip: Room 3 is the biggest and has all mod cons (as do the other rooms i imagine) remote control blinds o...

Absolutely amazing accommodation !!! Would definitely recommend south lodge, top notch individuals went the extra mile with everyone. Lift to and from the national bowl. First class breakfast especially the eggs!!! Nothing is too much for this b&b. Would stay at south lodge again in a heart beat. Truly amazing !!!!

We stayed here overnight before a big day in MK speaking at a conference.

The hosts know how to run a fabulous B&B it's better than many hotels. The personal touch is everywhere the style is unique.

The rooms are big clean and very well lit.

Breakfast was a delight and they make great porridge. That alone gives it 5/5 rating for me.

If you are looking for somewhere that will tick all the boxes this is it.

Firstly we would like to thank Julia and Colin for being the best hosts. They couldn't have possibly done anymore for us. We stayed from the 11th-13th July to attend a concert at the bowl and for some couples R & R away from the kids! Julia and Colin took us both to the gig and then picked us up afterwards as they did all the other guests attending the concert. The room (we stayed in four) was amazing. It was spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need. Fresh milk, bottled water and a box of home made shortbread were left everyday. Smart tv in the room, mini kitchen. It was perfect! We had our own little patio which finished it off wonderfully. The breakfast...well what can I say? It was delicious! Cooked to perfection and the choice was fantastic. Colin and Julia even brought it to our room for us each morning. I think to call it a B&B is a bit of an insult, even though that's what it is. It's so much more. This place is a must if your visiting Milton Keynes.

This was our 2nd stay, & it proved that our 1st stay was not a fluke !! Where do I start? This really is an awesome B&B right from when you check in to check out. Julia & Colin go beyond the extra mile to make you feel right at home. We were going to The Stables, only a 10 min walk away, but my partner had a foot injury, so ordered a taxi, however Colin insisted on driving us there. We stayed in Room1, wow what a Room, what a bathroom & what a view to the beautiful gardens . Everything is thought of down to homemade biscuits, & chilled water in your own fridge. Breakfast was 1st class, just wished I'd had the oatcakes, my partner said they were fab! We will be back, sorry guys !!

We stayed here on the night of our wedding before jetting off in the morning to our honeymoon destination. The only thing I would change about our stay is the fact we couldn't stay longer!! We arrived around 1am to a bottle of chilled champagne and a comfy bed ;) the next morning breakfast arrived at the time we requested and everything was lovely. The fry up, toast, coffee, orange juice etc. all perfect! The owners were lovely and when they saw my wife's dress hanging up they took an interest and were so kind to make sure we had everything we needed. We had to pop to the shop before we left and the owner kindly took me to a local shop to grab a few bits. Very helpful and friendly!

Would love to stay again!

Room Tip: Suite was massive and had lovely views of the garden

Booked this boutique hotel in conjunction with dining out at Paris House for my sisters 50th birthday celebration. It was easy to find and only 10 mins away from the restaurant. Very impressed that owner Julia offered to drive us to the restaurant instead of getting a taxi. Lovely to have a mini kitchen in the room and the open plan design meant that you could still have a conversation with someone when they were hogging the luxurious bath tub. You can park your car directly outside your room as spaces are allocated so need need to drag your suitcase through reception. Lovely garden and very quiet setting as only 5 rooms. Breakfast was served quickly and used where possible local ingredients, felt very spoilt, go try it!
