Stayed overnight for a two day company conference. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, spacious and well-appointed. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable! The variety and quality of the food was excellent, and the views from the restaurant on the fourteenth floor were stunning. A special mention for Cameron, who was our bartender at our private dinner. I’m not sure why the hotel only put on one bartender, knowing that 40 people would all descend on the bar at 7pm for pre-dinner drinks, but Cameron was brilliant! He was fast, efficient and friendly, and kept his cool while under pressure. Well done Cameron; we all appreciated you!

Lovely hotel, good amenities. Clean and comfortable, only negative would be no moisturiser/hand cream, but could easily bring your own! Nice, comfortable bed, air conditioning/heating works well. Quiet and comfortable nights sleep. You’re on to a winner if you get a view of the park as opposed to the john lewis car park 😅

I had plans to have a large event in this hotel so went along to sample their food and service before making the booking.
Heading up to the sky bar on floor 14, I was a bit surprised at how quiet it was. Whole place had around 8 customers so we sat down perused the bar menu and waited on one of the staff to come over.
15 minutes later, we were still waiting and having noticed absolutely no movement from any of the staff who were 'hanging around' chatting, we got up and left. Even this action failed to have someone leave their conversation to come over.

If this is the standard of service when quiet, pity help me if my 60 guests were to experience it.

Moved on and now negotiating with a less 'flash' hotel but one which does appear to have a much more professional and customer oriented staff.

Just hope my complaint to the reception when leaving will have impact.

Room tip: Given my experience, do check out before relying on a function here.

First the good points. It's clean, new and I had a super comfortable bed. Kieran does a great job running the lovely bar on the 14th floor. And that's a room with spectacular views over MK.
Now the bad.
The breakfast, also served on the top floor, was dismal. Fruit selection was poor, unless bananas float your boat. Melon was unripe, no fruit compote, which leaves pineapple chunks as pretty much the only edible option.
Hot menu. The bacon was undercooked, tomatoes were cold and mushrooms looked tinned. A request for an omelette or porridge was met by "No, the chef's too busy." That simply is not good enough. And the cold options amounted to a very limited choice. Premier Inns do it better.
Needless to say, I ate elsewhere thereafter.
If the management could sort out the catering, this place would be good.

Room tip: Parking is in the nearby multi storey. Discounted rate. Only open until midnight for arrivals
