We stayed in a family room which comprised of a double bed and two single camp beds. All were very comfortable and the room was bright clean and tidy. The reception staff were very polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need an overnight base.

Pretty decent for a Travelidge, to be fair.

The desk staff were very helpful & friendly whenever we spoke to them.

My only gripe (as with most hotels) is that we had a family room, which 3 people were staying in but the room was only set up for 2 - 2 towels, 2 cups. This meant a trip to reception to request more.

The room was clean, the bedding was clean, it's in a location easily accessible by public transport, although it did take me around 15 minutes to find after leaving the train station. Once I had located the hotel I realised it is literally a 5 minute walk.

When you're paying under £30 a night for a hotel, creating a song & dance about it being 'basic' is a bit silly, so I won't do that..

In case it'll help anyone - exit the station and turn left, following the footpath around to a gym. Turn left to go through the tunnel between the building next door & the gym. This brings you to a car park, continue to walk to the end of the car park, then turn right into a subway. Go under the first subway which brings you to another car park, continue straight walking across the car park, if you look ahead and slightly to the left at this point you should be able to see the sign for the Travelodge. When you come to the next subway go through then take a left through another sub, then a right and this will bring you out at the travelodge.

We were a mixed group of 7 friends visiting for a birthday. The price was amazing at £33.00 regardless of the amount of people in the room, bargain! The rooms are clean and modern and there is a private car park out the back.

Negatives: the spare bed in one of the rooms was lopsided when you lay on it and upon closer inspection the bed frame on one side was completely broken and poking out the fabric.

Unfortunately, at such a good price, people gravitate to the hotel for nights out stop overs. Whilst we were within this category, we were conscious of other residents and kept the noise down and left at a reasonable time. It's unfortunate other groups on the same floor as us were not so courteous with one group of 'lads' being removed from the hotel by police at 6am and another group of loud talking girls congregating in the corridor outside our rooms early in the morning. This is not technically the hotels fault however it did spoil our stay and in future, we will return to the holiday inn central which is closer to the centre and we had a much more pleasant stay.

This is a good standard Travelodge, recently refurbished. Pleasant, helpful staff, and the Breakfast boxes are good value with snacks for the whole day. Stayed there 3-4 times and never had a problem with parking. Very convenient for railway station.

Room Tip: Rooms are the Car Park side are probably quieter

Have been a regular for some time as it is booked via work,
I'm there that often that I'm always I'm the same room, which is great.
Service is and always was fantastic, it would be hard to find such a great service else where, the girls are great, and since they have had work done there the place is 100% the best, the beds are the pinicle, ...... I would recommend without hesitation to recommend this hotel to all.

Used the MK Central as a base to take two grandchildren to London for Easter. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Within 5 minutes of station and only 30/35 minutes to London Euston. This was a winner!!!
