The reception looks good and there is enough car parking spaces. At check in I asked if I could give them my Accor club No. Unlike every other Accor hotel I've stayed in the answer was no! The reason being I hadn't booked on the Accor website. Does this make me a second class customer? At other Novotel, it is explained that you won't get points but should be eligible to have the stay put on your club account which is exceptable.
I asked if there was a deal on the price of the breakfasts, again it's £13.95, like it or lump it. Again, at other Novotel they usually do a £10 deal if you buy a voucher the night before. So we lumped it the following morning and went to the local Premier Inn for £8.75.....
The rooms are very tired, I've never slept on a camp bed in a hotel before, I suppose there is a first time for everything. The sofa was dirty with cigarette burns on it, the shower wouldn't go on to shower mode. When I asked if I could change the answer was no, no spare rooms.
I will you Novotel again, but not Milton Keynes again.More
