Went to the restaurant with few work colleagues after work. Warm welcome at the restaurant. Good ambience, clean and modern deco.
The service was relaxed with number of unusual dishes. The starters of onion bhaji and chilli king prawns were mouthwatering. The dosa dish was sumptuous followed by the street food - kothu roti. We were all raving about the food the following day. Will recommend to anyone. Have already booked my next visit.

Went to Planet Dosa last week with few friends from work. Friendly greeting at entrance, relaxed service and nice ambience.
The food was second to none - finger licking Chilli king prawns, sumptuous dosas and kothu parotta.
Will definitely be back!

We arranged for a family meal together and it was terrible on every level:
> We were 6 adults and 1 child and they squeezed us on a table of 6 when they could have easily added another table
> They forgot my drink and I had to keep asking for it - only wanted water!
> The mogo was so overfried that it was too crispy
> We didn't have enough cutlery, kept asking for it and had to keep taking it from other tables
> Service was slow
> When the main course arrived, the okra was burnt black that it should never have left the kitchen
> They replaced this with another okra dish that was undercooked and that it could not be eaten
> The spinach was raw and could not be eaten
> The cauliflower was also raw that you needed a knife to cut through it
> All the food was cold and lacking in flavor
> We left most of the food
When we complained, they did little to appease us in any way and thought it was acceptable to serve such below standard food, we were so gobsmacked
When the bill came, we spoke at length with staff and the manager, who quite frankly could not care less.
It was embarrassing to see someone have absolutely no pride in their establishment.
He was quite happy to argue over the bill for a good 20 minutes and even then grudgingly discounted it.
He made no attempt to offer any kind of compensation to encourage us to come back

The only good thing was the plain naan and the dosa which was palateable.

We will not be returning again and I will definitely not be recommending Planet Dosa, which is a great shame as I am a big advocate and supporter of local, small and privately run business.

I visited Planet Dosa last night and have been thinking about how great the meal was all day! The menu in this little understated restaurant is one of Milton Keynes' best kept secrets.
I ordered a wide range from the menu and unlike many other restuatrants where the food all comes from the same base, each dish (and I tried 8) all had their own unique tastes - and every one made you want more!

The service was great, very friendly and the choice on the menu was superb.

I would highly recommend this - I will be back again!

I visited on a Saturday evening with my husband, we had planned to enjoy the delicious South Asian cuisine served by Planet Dosa.
We had arrivedand sat down at our table at 7 pm and no one turned up to our table upto 7:30pm after which we had to go to the manager desk and ask for service. Following this we had a waiter take our order and apologise. We waited until 8pm but still had no food or drinks were served at our table. We had again to go to the manager's desk only to discover that the waiter who took our order had forgot to place it in the kitchen. After this humilation we decided to leave to which he managers response was a plain 'sorry'. No one bothered to show the courtesy to ask us to stay back further revealing the attitude of 'dont care' towards their customers. Its a shame since we were regular visitors of planet dosa and had enjoyed thier cuisine with our friends and family on various occassions.....which will unfortunately not be the case in future. Sorry Planet Dosa no more recommendations atleast from us. It was a shame that we had to face this ridicule from a place we always loved to visit. But not any more now.....there are much better places out there.
