This is a very typical Premier Inn hotel, the rooms are a little older, but well kept and clean. Parking is separate to the hotel and costs an additional £4 overnight. The room rate is expensive for a Premier Inn outside London and doesn't offer great value.
The Lakeside pub located downstairs is ready for refurbishment, but the food was reasonable and there is a lot of choice.
Breakfast was disappointing. The newer Premier Inns have swanky Costa coffee machines, they only had the portable flasks of Coffee which tasted like it had already been sweetened, there was no fruit available, normally its good to take as a morning snack, and poached eggs came out boiled.
I'd stay again if it was the nearest Premier Inn to where I am working, but if I'd been spending my own money on accommodation I'd probably look elsewhere.More
