Very warm welcome from the Lady owner. Large room, rather small, but very clean bathroom. Breakfast was great, home made jam and marmelade, fresh fruit, full English. Safe off street parking at the back of the building. Location is excellent as well, within a radius of about 200 meters there are two good pubs who serve food and two restaurants. We did not visit the Restaurants, but they were highly recommended by people who live there. We stayed for three nights at the Limes and went to London on the train one day. Only five minutes on foot to the station, one hour from Bearstead into London-Victoria. The return ticket costs after 9.30 am only 20 Pounds.
From The Limes on the Green it is just 30 minutes by car to the Channel Tunnel or 40 Minutes to the Ferries at Dover.
We will come again!

Our stay at The Limes was wonderful, made more perfect by our hostess Sonia, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome, with fabulous breakfasts and luxurious linens on an excellent bed. The house has been beautifully restored, its like living in history with beautiul wood and even an ancient bread oven in the wall...but at the same time its all updated and very comfortable. The area is full of history too, so much to discover all within either a short walk or car ride. We would highly recommend others to go!

Great welcome and service. Very comfortable room with fine views, good en-suite bathroom and delicious breakfast. The house has been very tastefully restored and decorated beautifully. What more could you want.
We were invited to use the lovely gardens too but ran out of time. We'll be back as we have family in the area and this place is perfect.

Room Tip: If you prefer a shower rather than a bath choose the first floor room.

We went down to Kent for a friends wedding and stayed at this B&B. It's the best B&B experience we've had. We were made to feel so welcome in Sonia and Steve's home. We got a choice of two beautiful bedrooms and our bed was ridiculously comfy and both rooms had views over the green. The house is very old but really cosy inside. Breakfast was amazing and we were made to feel very relaxed on both mornings. Sonia very kindly kept filling up the teapot whilst we catched up with our friends who were also staying there. Sonia also had lots of recommendations on what we could do in the local area. We also were given a marrow from her vegetable patch when we left which was nice! It really was a perfect place to stay and we'd definitely go back!

A real find. Sonia was a terrific host. She was most helpful and informative. After a few days in this lovely home we felt as if we were staying with a friend. She was a mine of information about the local area and provided a guide for every attraction.Cormac our Irish terrier was made to feel so welcome,I believe she let him into her heart although she has no experience of dogs.. We loved everything about our stay, fab room and an endless supply of goodies for breakfast. This will not be our last visit.

We recently stayed at The Limes on the Green while visiting friends in Kent. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is gorgeous! Everything was spotless; the bed was really comfortable; the shower was powerful; the breakfast was one of the best I have had; we had a view over Bearsted Green and the cricket, and Sonia went out of her way to ensure we had all that we needed. We will definitely be back! Thanks Sonia for a lovely stay!

Visited Bearsted this weekend for a wedding requiring one night accommodation. Found this wonderful B&B in the village run by a lovely couple, Sonia and Steve. The house is full of 15th century character, has a feeling of friendiless and makes you feel at ease. The owners made our stay extremely enjoyable and went above and beyond to make it so.

We have the biggest breakfast ever, not only quantity but quality. The room overlooked the Green in the village, was extremely clean andhad everything to hand. We had the best night sleep and my husband wanted to take this bed home! We will definately return and would highly recommend.

Many thanks to Sonia and Steve, all the best for the future.
