Very nice hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Room excellent, large and quiet at night, it faced on to the courtyard. Breakfast was very good, only one thing wrong with it, there wasn't any mushrooms ready, only served to order :-(

Room Tip: Choose one that faces into the courtyard if you don't want to hear the traffic noise

As in all the Hilton Hotels we have stayed in, big, comfortable rooms & very courteous & helpful staff. The only negative was the evening meal in their restaurant. Although we don't mind paying a little extra if the food & drink is good but, unfortunately, we were very disappointed.

Travelled as part of a small group
Situated close to the Kent motorway system. Ideal for pre Chanel Tunnel or ferry crossing to Europe. Not much else going for it
Very helpful staff throughout.
Typical bland rooms with most of what you need for a short stay. Wi-Fi in rooms extortionate at near £15/night.
Comfortable lounge and bar. Reasonable beer prices Very high wine prices (£9 per glass for a very ordinary red)
Group meal less than memorable. Buffet unappetising. Exactly the reverse for the a la carte - shows what they can do.
All staff very obliging and friendly/efficient.
Conference facilities

The staff at the Hilton, Maidstone were absolutely superb in helping to set up and manage the arrangements for a very happy event. They played along and joined in with the timing and charade so that my wife was not aware of her surprise until she walked into the function room.... although she had been expecting a quiet dinner for two!....to be faced with all her grandchildren, son and daughter plus her daughter in New Zealand on Skype on a big wall screen. How my wife enjoyed that experience and the attention we all had from the Hilton staff who ensured that and the evening dinner etc went without a hitch. Thank you so much to all the staff from reception, those who prepared our bedroom in a special birthday theme, and to those who were so attentive in the function room. Not forgetting our thanks to those who contributed something towards the event and who we never had a chance to say thank you to! I have to say, "You can certainly trust the Hilton Maidstone to pull out all the stops when asked to do so!"

Room Tip: Just tell the staff what you are wanting when you book and they will surely oblige if they are able...

We arranged my mums 65th Surprise birthday dinner at this lovely hotel last Saturday. Right from the start the staff here have been so helpful and attentive to our needs. We arrived early on Saturday afternoon to decorate the Aylesford Room. What a lovely room, just perfect size for our evening dinner party. The room was already set with white linen table cloth, napkins and cutlery and a table for the cake. We just had to add our own birthday touches. The evening and the surprise went to plan and I just would like to thank the staff at the Hilton Maidstone, for helping us and making this special birthday a memorable one for my mum. Would like to especially thank Oli for setting up the Skype link in the room, so my mum could talk to my sister in New Zealand. Nothing was too much trouble, so thank you so much. Kiri on reception for keeping with the surprise and ringing us in our room to let us know that my mum had checked in, so we could all get into the Aylesford room for the big surprise. Haluk for showing my mum to the room and going along with the surprise with them, thank you so much. The waiter and waitress what a great job you did in serving our delicious meal, I am so sorry but I didn't get your names. Hayley for organising the meal, with the menus etc and the birthday cake, thank you. What a great day and night at this lovely hotel. We had a family room, large and clean for our three boys. We had two double beds and a travel cot. The boys went swimming and enjoyed the pool, very clean and good size. We all loved the Hilton breakfast, such a variety to choose from. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends for any event and we will hopefully stay again soon. Thank you so much Hilton Maidstone.

We planed a surprise celebration for my Mums 65th birthday at The Hilton in Maidstone last weekend. Everything went just as we had hoped and ran very smoothly. The rooms were very spacious, beds comfy and breakfast fantastic! Don't think it could have gone any better! Thank you to everyone involved...

This Hotel has only 4 allocated disabled car parking places near the door, in an otherwise large car park. What is more, non disabled cars park in the spaces and the hotel does nothing to police the situation. There are other disabled spaces, but at the rear and for the Living Well gymnasium. Further, the breakfasts over each of three days were poor. Fried eggs with solid yokes every day, no mushrooms, no grapefruit and, on one day, no marmalade only jam. The very friendly staff and excellent clean room did not alleviate the otherwise poor meal and parking presentation. I have given back my Hilton Honors card, left at reception. After previous similar poor experiences at Hilton (except the excellent Hilton by Double Tree at Newcastle upon Tyne Airport) I will not be using Hilton again.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for an upgrade.

Dear Martin,
Thank you for your constructive feedback. Please accept my apologies for not meeting your expectations. Firstly I am sorry that you did not find disabled parking spaces available; unfortunately there is no way of constantly monitoring that, as we would have to keep approaching every person parking there to challenge their disability status, which is often invisible.
I am also sorry to read that our breakfast was not to your taste, please note that our team is always happy to cook to order when approached with a request. Nevertheless you comments were heard and shared with our Food and Beverage team.
I am happy to read that you found our team and cleanliness excellent; however I am once again sorry that this was not enough to fulfil your expectations.
I do hope that you will give us another chance next time you are in the area; as I am sure from most of our customers’ feedback that the Hilton Maidstone can provide a world class guest experience and restore you faith in our hospitality.
Regards,
Leonardo Gagliano
