Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Quiet considering it was a motorway services. Convenient for Hollingbourne station and pubs (good food) BUT path is overgrown. We are seasoned walkers and it took us 40 mins to get to The Dirty Habit and 30 mins to the station. Easy to drive there.

Thank you for your review for the Days Inn Maidstone
I'm pleased you found your room comfortable and the staff friendly and will pass your comments on to the team
Unfortunately we don't have any control over the footpath that takes you to Hollingbourne village but will write a letter to Hollingbourne Parish council regarding this
I hope we have the pleasure of hosting you again in the near future.

Essential stop but for a little more I could have stayed at a much better, quieter, cleaner, destination. I was greeted nicely by the reception staff but the first guest room given was not cleaned/serviced after the last guest departed. The second room was better but smelt smoky, sticky carpet, uncomfortable bed, good shower in the morning. Breakfast was in the motorway services building next door where there was plenty of choice. Parking was good and the option to leave a vehicle was explained at £20/24 hours.

We stayed twice at the Days Inn and it is a good and affordable place place if you are coming from or planning cossing the channel and have a long drive ahead.
The rooms are well sized and parking is available.

We stayed overnight 21/22 Apr. The bedroom and ensuite were clean. However, one of the reading lights over the bed was missing a bulb and, in a twin-bed room , there should have been a second chair. Otherwise all was satisfactory.

Needed to stay overnight on business. Lady on reception very helpful. Room perfectly acceptable. No frills but everything worked, it was clean, and I had a decent night's sleep. Did not have breakfast so can't comment.
