“Sunday walk”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

The sun was shining and the ducks and geese had their young which was lovely . The Mediteranean garden is wonderful. There seems to be plenty to do but I went for the gardens which are beautiful.
Well worth a visit.

“Difficult access”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

The entrance is a 15 minute walk through the gardens, then down 40 steps into a basement, then up 40 steps. There is also a spiral staircase, and few places to sit and rest.

“Southern Segway at Leeds castle ...a great experience.”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

My husband was given a voucher for two at Southern Segway at Leeds Castle for his birthday. It was a fabulous hour. We both loved the Segway and the weather was glorious (Easter Monday). Leeds Castle is beautiful and I can't think of a better place to use a Segway. The vistas were breathtaking. We will definitely want to do this again. A word of warning though....if you think it will give you access to a free trip to the castle..you do have to buy an entrance ticket afterwards if you want to enjoy the full beauty of the place. The good news is that an entrance ticket gives you access for a year.

“The outside, gardens and maze are well worth the trip”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Like a lot of the castles in England, the setting and outside are spectacular, but the insides burst all you romantic imaginings. Leeds was redone in the 1930's; not a memorable period. I would go back but would not go inside. The grounds are just wonderful--one of the best settings I've seen.

“Beautiful castle!”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

It really is the "loveliest castle in the world", perfect setting (especially when the English weather is favourable for once!!), expect to spend a whole day here just soaking up the atmosphere. Take a picnic and enjoy the views, or enjoy fish & chips in the courtyard area - watch out for wandering peacocks!! We also did a Segway Adventure tour around the grounds which meant we got to see the wonderful castle from different perspectives. Well worth a visit.
