“History geek but”

I love history i love the fact that you can buy an annual ticket for only £21 (as a student) they are currently refurbing some of the castle so you cant see some of it, the staff are all really friendly BUT
if you are going to EAT at the castle (going to try the restaurant friday so cant comment until then) but the costa coffee that is attached to the restaurant is not well managed at all, they are under staffed, the staff do not know what they are doing. i ordered a caramel latte in which they put milk foamer in (i know because i make milkshakes at work in a similar way) the young girl who made my drink put way to much in and it went like snot it was awful... i would suggest that the staff at the costa coffees have more training.
Other than that a wonderful place to go.

“Good Castle but RIP OFF price of admission”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Well worth a visit - IF YOU'RE RICH. £19 admission? Where do they get that from?
I almost didn't go in on principle when I saw that price, but I'd wanted to see it for many years and I rarely go to Kent, so after a long time I finally went in. It would be great for £6-7 and I'd have given it 5 stars, but do what I should have done - go elsewhere for £6-7, have a nice lunch and still come away with cash spare. RIP OFF

“Awesome and grand”

Wonderfully maintained garden and castle with moat. Plenty of birds including peacocks roaming around the garden. Many activities for children and facilities for food and drinks.

“The grounds are superior”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

While it's a nice castle to visit the ground are superior. The ducks, swans, and peacocks are everywhere and love to interact, and get fed, by the visitors. There are gardens and a maze for the kids as well.

“Sunday walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

The sun was shining and the ducks and geese had their young which was lovely . The Mediteranean garden is wonderful. There seems to be plenty to do but I went for the gardens which are beautiful.
Well worth a visit.
