Stayed at this hotel whilst in london for the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. Ideal location for such an event, two mins walk to train station on direct line to Wembley. Arrived before check in time and hotel was busy so rooms not available, however we were given vouchers to park up car. We found a parking spot quite easily as it was a weekend but parking is quite tight so may be and issue during the week. Rooms fairly basic but very clean and had everything you would for a couple of nights stay. Breakfast was perfectly fine, continental with a few hot items, enough to set you up for the day. Lifts were a little unreliable. As other have said, our rooms were on front of hotel and very quiet but i would imagine those overlooking railway line could be noisy.

Approx 10 mins walk to watfords restaurants and bars. One thing we found a little odd was being asked for i. d to go into a pub in watford, especially as four of us are over 50!!! This could have been a problem as the door men said we wouldnt get into any pubs/bars without it. So remember if travelling from the North you need to take your passport!!!!!

Would stay here again

Room Tip: ask for a room at front of hotel and not overlooking train lines

Stayed as a family on the 15th Aug for 2 nights. Our primary objective was to visit London and use this hotel as a place to stay to avoid staying in London paying obscene prices. The hotel was modern, room was spotless, breakfast was sufficient. Staff where great and very helpful and the fact you can store your luggage in a room on the day of departure(and before you check in, was very good. Would I stay here again, YES. Nice one Holiday inn, your express hotels are spotless and very well run and most importantly very cheap.

Only negative is you can hear trains passing if your room overlooks the railway.

We stayed here with our 2 year old, when visiting a friend in London. As we were driving, this was an easy hotel to find, just off of the M25. We utilised the parking to the rear too (though my quibble was that the website states that parking is free at the weekend but we were still charged - but at £3 per day I wasn't overly bothered!!). We got the room on a bed & breakfast deal - when I booked I had looked at other reviews and put in a request for a room looking out onto the road as previous guests had said that it was quite noisy on the railway side. We were very grateful that they could accommodate our request as the road side is much quieter (especially good when you have a tired 2 year old on your hands!!). That being said, it's location was great for us as you really don't have far to go to get to the train station, which is then just 20mins from the centre of London - so handy!! The room was big enough for all of our stuff and the beds were comfy - plus it was really clean and appeared to be well looked after. Overall, when we come back to London the next time I would definitely try to get a room here again!!

The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, welcoming and helpful- I can't sing their praises enough.

The hotel communal areas were clean and relaxing; the rooms were biger than expected, clean, well decorated and furnished, comfortable and again relaxing.

Breakfast, to quote my son, made breakfast at home seem vastly inferior and went down very well.

It was the lowest price hotel I found for the area and to be honest it really didn't show, I would DEFINITELY stay here again if I was in Watford again and I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Room Tip: Made the mistake of having the window open Thursday night, Friday morning there was a lot of noise o...

only a 3 minute walk to the train station, comfortable but small rooms for up to 4, 10 minute drive to harry potter, some bars & places to eat in walking distance--(try barracuda Mediterranean on high st. about 10 minute walk) parking is limited due to office buildings on same property, breakfast was not really good, not much selection.

Location - right next to station so it's easy to get into London. Great hotel if going to Harry Potter World.

Noise - Zero.

Parking - No problem.

Breakfast - Poor.

Would stay again for the £60 I paid.
