My partner and I stay at this hotel once every year as it is the first place we stayed when we arrived in England 4 years ago. It is nothing luxurious - but the staff are friendly, it's a short walk to watfords shopping and bar district and the train station is a stones throw away. The TV and Internet package are a good deal and the breakfast is appropriate. A great bargain for London visitors too.

Great location for our Harry Potter weekend. The staff were amazing when we had an isssue with our room and relocated us immediatley. The breakfast satisfied 2 teenagers no problem - no mean feat!!
Would recommend this hotel every time, clean , friendly and welcoming.

When we planned our long weekend in London and found this hotel we didn't realize that Watford was so far from London city, so we were a bit worried when the bus from Heathrow took almost an hour and it seemed as we went out on the countryside. But Watford is a wonderful little part of London and there is a lot to do there. And the train to London Euston goes often and doesn't take long.

The hotel was very nice, the rooms held high standard and everything was clean and fresh. And one good thing was that the hotel was not far from the Warner Bros Harry Potter studio tour (which we also recommend, by the way).

So, we really recommend Holiday Inn Express London - Watford Junction!

I am a care worker and I stayed here for 4 nights whilst holidaying with 2 disabled adults. Our rooms were lovely & clean, moreover the entire hotel was spotless (including the communal toilets on the ground floor) and the whole place smelled fresh. The staff were fantastic, they were very understanding about our complex needs and requirements and nothing was too much trouble. They were pleasant and friendly to the disabled adults, smiling and making them feel welcome. They went out of their way to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed, bringing us extra towels and pillows and even making up the sofa bed for us. We had adjoining rooms, and the best part about it was the carers room was free - which meant we had more money for the residents to enjoy London! The breakfast was good and the evening meal was good too. A 2 minute walk to the train station. A very good stay, would recommend.

My husband & I stayed here overnight to visit the Harry Potter Studio tour. The Hotel was excellent, comfortable bed, lovely and clean & super, super staff, we arrived early, ( the hotel is well located for visiting London too) and they were only too happy to check us in a little early :) Wonderful visit.
