“A really good place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2012

We had been given theatre tickets to see the Wizard Of of Oz in London for Christmas but left it late to book a hotel room. All the ones we could find were very expensive and the reviews were not that good so we decided to try a bit farther out of central London. The Premier Inn at Croxley Green came recommended on Tripadvisor so we decided to give it a try.We had never stayed at a Premier Inn before and for some reason I was quite worried that it would be ok.I needn't have worried it was absolutely fine. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was large and comfy too. We paid extra for the buffet English breakfast which was also good.Would not hesitate to stay again and the staff were all helpful and really knowledgeable about buses, trains and the underground

Stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was as usual with Premier Inn, clean presentable and well looked after unfortunately some of the staff and the brewers fayre attached do let it down somewhat. Our first night passed uneventfully but the second night was noisy with the football fans also staying running up and down our corridor, banging on doors and using language that was more suitable to the docks than a hotel where children were trying to sleep. My complaint was dealt with swiftly and professionally and we were refunded that nights stay. It wont put me off staying at any Premier Inn again as I do like them especially the one in Monifieth Scotland. The receptionist when we arrived on Thursday night wasn't there and when he did come there was no greeting, smile or apology for keeping us waiting which is really important in the hospitality trade, he also ran through everything so quickly we missed some of what he said, definate impression that he wanted everyone away from the desk quickly and it wasn't as if there were loads of people waiting to check in only 2 others. However I would definately want to congratulate the other 2 receptionists we encountered one was Joseph and the other lady, sorry forgotten her name, who dealt with my complaint and check out on Saturday morning, they both went about their duties with big smiles and a professional attitude and went above and beyond for all guests. On the downside the restaurant was lacking in waiting staff and atmosphere. My friends son did not want to have the buffet on either the Thursday or Friday of our stay and his food order took absolutely ages to come out, on both nights we had to ask where it was not good. When I had an issue with my desert one night there was no waiting staff anywhere but the bar staff dealt with it for me and then I still had to ask where it had gone as it took well over 15 mins to bring back. On the plus side I did ask a question about ingredients used as my son has allergies and the you waiter brought out a file which should which ingredients etc where in each product, this really helped and I wasn't made to feel that it was an awkward request in any way. Also the you waitress who did the breakfast on both mornings of our stay was very good and very friendly. Overall a good stay but let down by the noise (not the hotel's fault though) and the restaurant.

It's a premier inn, everything was immaculately clean and worked. Staff were good and breakfast was decent. I'll stay here again.

Stayed at this property recently on a business trip to London - the welcome was warm and accurate with the information from the Receptionist (thanks, Jay!) and the Bar Staff top of the range (thanks, James!) The hotel is well situated, the rooms large and airy, and even have telephones in them. It's a challenge to me that Premier Inn Group seem to be taking out facilities such as the Guest computers in the lobby, and telephones in the rooms, but I guess that's the price we pay for mobile connectivity. All round, this hotel is the most wonderful Ambassador for the Premier Inn brand - well done!

Room Tip: Request the rooms at the back, as these could well be quieter than those facing the busy main road.

We had a brilliant recent stay at Premier Inn - Croxley Green. The receptionist was exceptional and helped us throughout our stay. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The all you can eat breakfast was excellent value for money and kept us going for the day. We also had the evening meals there and these too were the same excellent value. We booked this hotel as a base for visiting London with our children. This was ideal as it was only a short drive to the train station (would have only taken 20-30 mins walking), Parking at the station was only £3.50 for the day. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Had a fantastic stay......all the staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We went for the deal for evening meal and breakfast and that was brilliant - 3 course evening meal including a drink plus all you could eat breakfast. Would highly recommend this
hotel.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the rear car park and we had no problem with the noise at all.
